Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

First night, i got the executive studio and when i demanded to change, they kept me waiting. The lady had the audacity to ask how i know its not the one bedroom apartment which i had paid for, i mean, really? Do you think people are that dumb that you can fleece them? Basically, i finally got the most disgusting one bedroom apartment room available. Will not return and will not recommend this place at all.
Location is very convenient, close to shops and eatieries. Public transport is very easy and its in a clean and decent neighborhood.

CanadaWow. Where to start. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. We booked a two (2) bedroom for 3 family members, one of whom uses a wheelchair. The day off checkin starts with a threatening letter that if you don't pay the deposit using online bank transfer by a certain time, that your reservation will be cancelled. So if you receive this email while traveling by air and you don't have Internet, you could arrive in BKK to find they have cancelled your booking. Upon arrival, we discovered that the 2nd bedroom had been locked - not an accidental locking - it requires a key to lock/unlock from the outside. And of course no one was available to unlock the door for us. Over the phone we were assigned a different 2br unit. Reading customer reviews on booking.com revealed that they do this so they can rent out a 2br unit as a 1br unit. But no one bothered doing any pre-checkin inspection for us to ensure that both bedrooms would be available. We then discovered the next issue is that there is no water pressure. And water pressure is required to trigger the on-demand switch in the water heater. So not only did we have only a trickle of water, but there was no hot water to shower or wash. The staff are useless. Booking.com responses to customer complaints are full of "sorry" platitudes, but they don't actually fix the problems. We complained about the water issue several times on WhatsApp and using booking.com messaging to the property, but nothing was done about it. Units are poorly equipped. There are no cleaning supplies in the kitchen, no wash cloths, and no hand towels supplied. The TV remote batteries were dead and never replaced even though we complained. Overall, very poor quality and service. This property does not even deserve one star.

SpainIt is advertised as 24hr reception but the day before your arrival they send an email saying that check out is before 18.00 pm and you have to wire (wire!!) the money. I contacted them several times to tell I would be late to check in with no reply. Had to send a friend that left the key in a mail box so I could get in the room. Once inside it is good size (2 bedroom apartment in my case) not enough equiped to be a serviced residence, just some old forks, pans and glasses...

ThailandHad cockroach in the room. Ac was leaking. toilet could not flush properly. Staffs were not attentive. Customer service skill is low as well as problem solving. All the issue had been raised by message and got ignored. So I had to poke them till they responded and solved some issues. Customer experience at the place is minus and would not recommended to friends or family.

PhilippinesWe initially reserved a one bedroom unit. Then they said nothing is available so they upgraded us do a two bedroom unit but they locked the other room in the other bathroom. Then the next day they keep forcing us to move our things while we’re not yet prepared or we are not given enough time to fix our things to change rooms. I hope that they would fix future problems like this and really try their best to support customer said accommodate our request.

MaldivesThere was a smell in the kitchen. The pillows were hard and 2 pillows per bed.May be they can add more pillows like 2 pillows each or based on number of guests or keep an extra in the cupboard. (A suggestion as we like this place and would love to come back again)
