It was our second time in Krabi and second time in Aonang Eco villa. Overall we are happy with our stay! We enjoy the comfort and serenity that this place brings. However, for the price paid , it could be convenient to offer free shuttles to Aonang beach as the villa is really far from the center!

The distance from the centre of the shopping and food area and the beach. We were already aware of the location of the accommodation so we did not have any unexpected experience. We hired a motorbike for going around, the hosts helped a lot with the process, which was fun for us! So in order to be independent of taxis etc and have a flexible timetable you will need to hire a motorbike or car. I am not mentioning this as a negative thing just as an advice to future visitors!

We totally loved staying in Aonang eco villa! everything was great and beyond our expectations! The accomodation is hidden in a gorgeous garden with a pool. Our villa was very spacious and clean, with a beautiful balcony with a seating area where you could feel like you were in a tropical jungle. The place was very calm and quiet, just perfect for those seeking for relaxing vacations! The hosts were very kind and helpful to whatever we needed and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would definetely visit this accommodation if we ever go back to Krabi!

There was one person on reception for my entire stay, who quickly became overwhelmed if there was more than one guest to attend to. Breakfast needs to be pre-ordered the night before, other options are a 5 minute motorcycle ride. The bar is unattended and snack options are crisps and peanuts. I suggest you walk 2 mins to the end of the road where there's a grocery store, where you'll pay half. At the time of writing (April 2024), construction was starting on a house directly outside the entrance to the resort.

Nice arrangement of 10 spacious studio villas with private balcony, in a quiet (although more on that later) suburban neighbourhood. Villas 1-4 back on to a forested area, though their balconies face frontwards, so not entirely private (though there's almost no-one passing by). With the exception of #1 & #10 which are close to the reception/pool, these may be the quieter setting. #5-10 have private balconies facing the adjacent local moobarn (housing estate), so you do get more noise, but it's not disturbing as it's families, so quiet at night. Villa #5 may well be the pick of the bunch as it's midway between these two sides at the end of the cul-de-sac. It's located about a 10 minute motorcycle ride from downtown Ao Nang, which to me is a good point. You will need your own transport or spend a fortune on taxis. There are numerous small, cheap local restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, but no Western options. The 420 bar, if that's your thing, is about a 10 min walk, and does offer Western food and Bob Marley. Nice, clean quiet pool and a beautiful well maintained garden. Small, tasteful reception area.

The only drawback of Aonang Ecovilla is that, even though the location is amazing for a peaceful stay, they didn't have any food at the bar and there are no restaurants in walking distance. This wasn't ideal on our first night as we walked around for a good hour looking for a place to eat without having to drive to town (Google maps is outdated).

Absolutely amazing hotel located in the most peaceful environment away from the vulgar streets of Ao Nang Beach. The pool was gorgeous, the little cabin was very cute, extremely clean and cozy. We were also able to use their bikes to go grab a coffee. Great value for money compared to any other accommodation in the area.

Great place to stay in Ao Nang, close to Ao Nang but in a peaceful area. Friendly staff, lovely pool to swim, breakfast optional, big rooms Option to rent a scooter at the hotel, this is needed as its a little remote from everything.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It's such a cozy and peaceful place it's easy to forget you're staying at a hotel! The staff is super friendly and was extremely helpful making our stay in aonang one we won't forget, thank you so much. There is also a gardener who tends to the grounds. At first we were worried about the location, but taxis are cheaper than tuk tuks, and easily ordered via a number of apps. Our room was spotless and spacious with a small patio and hammock to chill. We'll definitely book our stay here the ndxt time we're in aonang!

Probably the only thing I was missing was a restaurant on site and the breakfast was quite expensive but it wasn't a big deal. We found lovely places with great food just a short walk away.

The villa was beautiful and comfortable. Super clean. Staff was lovely and helpful and the swimming pool was great! I liked that it was a little further away from everywhere yet still quite easily accessible by taxi. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Such a peaceful oasis away from the busy Ao nang beach. Absolutely immaculate rooms large and spotlessly clean set in beautiful gardens swimming pool immaculately clean and warm. Location perfect two minutes walk to Oscar villa which serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Another local restaurant straight in front of eco villa and ten minute Walk to another bar restaurant cafe 4.2 which has music and best burgers if you need a break from Thai food ! You can get a tuk tuk from Oscar villa into Ao nang for 100 bht. Would definitely recommend eco villa ao nang staff friendly and helpful.

The only minor drawback could be the location for some people. It's a couple of miles from Ao Nang beach. It didn't cause us too much of a problem but you need to consider travel costs by scooter, taxi or tuk tuk if you decide to stay here. It definitely would NOT stop me from staying here again !!!!

The complex is fantastic. It is exactly as shown in the photos and arguably even more impressive when you arrive. The villas, grounds and the pool are all kept impressively clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. The onsite WiFi is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and Pekky (one of the joint owners) is regularly on site to provide advice and suggestions such as where to eat.

It wasn’t a problem as you can just use grab, but I would recommend this place for short stays. As it’s not really walking distance to the beach, restaurants etc, so taxis could add up if you’re staying for a while. If they had a restaurant on site it would be perfect.

The property is stunning. Love all the plants surrounding the pool and villas, the villas are large, clean and comfortable. Really nice pool area. And they staff are so welcoming and friendly. We had a late flight home and they let us have a late check out and then continue to spend the rest of the day by the pool and order food to eat at the reception. Couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Very peaceful location yet within easy taxi or scooter ride of the main town. Spacious villa, light and airy with good quality finish. Pleasant gardens and medium sized pool which is the cleanest we have used in Thailand. The pool water is also warm as the sun reaches the area all day. All staff are welcoming and helpful. The resort is small and tranquil and very well presented as well as spotlessly clean throughout. The mini bar prices are fair.

You need to take a taxi or tuk tuk to get around, but the grab app works well so easy to organise.

The individual villas are large and very comfortable and the swimming pool and garden is a very relaxing place. The owner was very helpful and recommended 2 very nice restaurants to us.. We enjoyed being away from the main area of Aonang
