I loved absolutely everything about the property and staff. Sadly there was construction going on next door and the noise was horrible, from early morning until late afternoon, I hope this is finished very soon. If you are looking to swim from your beach, this is not possible sadly, just ankle deep unfortunately.

The property was absolutely perfect? The staff were so helpful and friendly and very, very hardworking . Nothing was too much trouble for the chef. He was so enthusiastic about the food he was cooking and the food he served us was scrumptious! The sun beds were plentiful, all shaded by wonderful trees. There were also hammocks and bean bags as well as little straw huts if you wanted to be in complete shade. The gardens were perfect, with staff busy working on it all day. There were sarongs in the cabin too for guests use, a lovely touch. Every evening, the staff lit mosquito candles on our balcony, very thoughtful. The pool was so great, with the temperature perfect. We hired a motor bike from the top of the road, they were very helpful and very nice. We went to a lovely street market on Saturday, it only took 3 minutes on the motor bike. Such a lovely time, nothing negative to say about the property or staff ❤️

For the first time in my life I've seen a room which doesn't have a separate toilet and a bath. They're located in the room behind a bamboo curtain so you can't comfortably use the bathroom when your couple is in the room :)

This hotel is located in a amazing little Beach, a little far from the main roads but the sides are beautiful. It is simply peace and surrounding for those who are looking for some peace and quiet. The bungalow is big enough and comfortable enough. Preferably you will need to have a scooter or a car if you want to move around from this area.

This is a great little find. A comfy, clean bungalow on the beach with great hosts. They have a great little social area with tasty food and cheap beer. It's in the perfect location for sunset and is ideal if you're looking for somewhere to relax. It's a ten minute walk from the main bars but passes a 7-11 so ideal.

The sea was very shallow, the pier which was reconstructed was just at the end of the territory, was not very pleasant so swim so we rented scooter and went to orher beaches. The pool needs refurbishement.

The bungalow was clean, the staff provided anti mosquito protection on the porch and inside. The outside area clean, very well maintained, nice scenery, could refill water bottles. Good location to rent scooter or walk to the town by foot about 10-15min.

The pool was not ideal. If you have any mobility issues, it would be difficult to get in and out. The daily burning of ?? was smelly and smokey.

The bungalow was private, peaceful, and has a beautiful view. The restaurant food is excellent.

The room was a little stuffy when we arrived even though they were airing it out. It wasn't a big issue though with leaving it open when possible and then with air conditioning once the mosquitos were too bad. Scooter or car is very helpful to be able to get around.

Beatiful room, comfortable bed, could almost see the beach, access to the kayaks for free and use of the shared spaces even when we checked out was very helpful. Hammock was great, and staff was helpful in telling us about mosquitos and providing solutions. The mosquito coil under the Hammock was perfect.

This is a really nice resort, close to Thongsala. Its nice surrondings and really quiet and relaxed place to be. The food is really nice and the staff and the owners are really friendly and helpful and make you feel at home.

Facilities are very simple, small eating space/bar and thats it. So for some variety and options, need to walk to the city (maybe 10-15 mins walk)

Very cute place! The main picture is exactly what you get, in your small bungalow. Sea view and hammock, it was lovely! We had only 1 night there, so we can easily go to ferry next day, but wish we had more time! French feeling, as they have pétanque competition there very often.

Location is right at the beach. There’s construction work going on at the moment which bothered me a bit but it’s not the hotels fault. Thong sala is 10 minutes away, 7-eleven about 5 minutes. Staff is friendly and they have very cute cats hanging around in the beach Try the homemade iced tea !

Shouldn’t let it put you off … but it is quite a dark road from the main road to the resort. Once you get to the main road there’s only a few bars in close walking distance. However, we still felt completely safe walking (as 2 women) and the staff were happy to order taxis for us if needed. It would be good to have some lights on the road leading to the resort though.

Resort was really lovely. Only about 10 bungalows which makes it feel like you’ve got the place to yourself. All bungalows are very private. Pool was a great addition if you didn’t want to go in the sea. Pool/ beach area was really nice. Enough beds for everyone and the choice of frazzling in the sunshine or moving the bed under the shade of the palm trees. Bar/ restaurant area was lovely. Food was delicious and the beers were nice and cold (not always a guarantee in Thailand). Lots of cocktails and other beverages on offer too. We didn’t try anything other than beer but what we saw looked nice! Would be good if a pool table was available and maybe if the bar could be open a little later - even 10:30pm would be good. I say this as there isn’t much else close by. Bungalows were clean, spacious and had everything you needed. I thought we would’ve been eaten alive with mozzies but the owners did everything they could to make sure this didn’t happen. We didn’t get 1 bite at all !! All staff were so lovely and always genuinely happy to help. I think the staff really add a sparkle to this place. Thank you for a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

I would reccomend breakfast and lunch at the resort next door. Not that the food is bad at Angkana, diner is still very good.

Lovely place, very nice accomodation close to the pier and centre of Thong sala but still far enough away from the crowds. We stayed in cabin 1, it had a beatiful view. Very nice hosts. We used the free kayak to go to the island opposite of the resort. And they did everything they can to help us against the mosquitos. They arranged a taxi for us at 5:00 in the morning so we could catch the ferry. If i ever come back i would definately stay here again.

Beautiful room, location and friendly staff. You step out for breakfast (which is great here btw) and go back to your room and it’s already made immaculate by the staff.

Absolutely recommend to spend a couple of days in this paradise, it’s totally worth it. We had a beachfront bungalow and the view was absolutely gorgeous, the staff and owners are super nice and arranging, the food is good and the prices are okay - but the drinks are truly marvelous!
