Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe beach, it was jam packed with jelly fish so we did'nt dare venture into the sea.
The hotel was very clean, originally we were on the top floor and a little out of the way, but due to a toilet blockage our room was upgraded to a deluxe and this was much better all round.

ItalyNot the fault is the property but the beach was full of jelly fishes, making impossible to swim. Also, they need to train the bartenders to prepare the cocktails right. I am sure is they got in contact with bar academies (Diageo, Campari Group, etc) they would be happy to show how they are done.
Amazing facilities, very clean, great staff. Good tours options.

AustraliaBeach is not great when the tide is out (as with any beach). A few jelly fish around in April but one can still enjoy a swim in the sea. Spa was expensive but oh so lovely. Prices could be a little more reasonable.
Absolutely beautiful luxurious hotel set on a private beach shared with only a very few other hotels. Thoughtful staff, wonderfully clean, top notch food and great happy hour. Yes it’s a bit far from other restaurants and shops but honestly you don’t need to leave this piece of paradise. Excellent breakfast too. Highly recommend! Hotel even catered for my coeliac daughter! The pool bar, reception; housekeeping and Marco’s staff are exceptional. I hope the staff are well looked after as they deserve it.

MalaysiaVery few choices of restaurants. The ac in our room keeps on going off but resolved by your staff as the setting was a bit tricky for us to do it ourselves.
The beach, the cleanliness and the friendly staffs…the transport to and from the airport was luxurious.

South AfricaWe requested a six seater table for meals so our group could eat together. The breakfast room staff refused, said "it was not allowed" and would not allow us to push two tables together. We asked the staff in reception to intervene, and it still was not done until the last morning. very disappointing.

United StatesThe layout is up and down stairs - good exercise - it’s compact not many water “toys” to use. Was jealous of the hobie and new SUP and kayaks at the next door banyan. The grounds are well kept but compact and narrow strip to the beach.
Great rooms, caring staff though a bit more english would be helpful, child friendly, right off the beach with some tree shade off to the side. villas are nice. Really good pools for floating and cooling off not swimming

Very nice boutique hotel with beautiful landscape, garden and pools; Great view of the islands in front of the hotel; it is not crowded at the pools Good restaurant and excelent services; spa with a pleasant atmosphere; We were upgraded to the villa with pool on the beach - which is worth all the money: 2 separate bedrooms with bathroom; one of the bedrooms with bathroom outside; large living room and a small kitchen; the pool is big and it's great to have a swim in your own pool! large living room and a small kitchen; the pool is big and it's great to have a swim in your own pool looking at the stars and palm trees; There are a few restaurants nearby , which you can reach in 5 minutes by walking on the beach. I warmly recommend this hotel to everyone who loves quiet boutique hotels with 5-star facilities!

United KingdomOnly one restaurant was open in the evening. It served a little bit of everything..... International, Italian, Thai and Indian food. Menu a little limited in each category. Beer was a little pricey, except during happy hour. Lovely location, right on the beach, it was quiet and relaxing, perhaps a bit too remote. A few restaurants on the beach, but no shops or restaurants on the road, that were within walking distance. Nearest shops are back in Klong Muang, it's not walkable, so taxi each way.
Room, breakfast, happy hour. Views from the pool and beach. Peaceful and beautiful. Flowers everywhere smelled wonderful especially morning and evening. A series of small pools, some with water jets. A lovely very low key resort day and night...if you are looking to just chill out, this place is perfect. Long tail available during day for island trips.

Romaniathe prices at the restaurant were a bit high compared to other hotels of the same category, and the fact that you don't have much to explore in the area!!
a plus that characterized our stay here was that we were allowed to use the shower and a room after coming from a small sea cruise even though we had checked out

United KingdomThe food in the restaurant wasn’t great for the evening meal. It was probably the worst meal we had in Thailand. It was bland, particularly the curry (and the naan bread was just horrible) and very over priced for what it was. Despite this being quite an expensive hotel there still weren’t enough sun loungers for the guests. In fact we even witnessed an argument as a couple had come and removed another families towels and stuff from the sun lounger and they only been away for about 20 minutes.
Lovely hotel, pool area was great, breakfast was very nice, staff were friendly and helpful

United KingdomIt is a bit out of town, but that is easily overcome by taxi to the town near the Dusit Thani and costs less than 300 baht to reach. There are plenty of food options there.
The beach is stunning, like many along this stretch of coast. The sea is very calm and shallow, allowing both swimmers and waders to enjoy it. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was both varied and good, and was refreshed regularly - things never looked stale.
