Location is not ideal with quite a walk uphill to reach the hotel so you need transportation. Access from lobby to rooms is by cart which can be a hassle whereas the route from the lobby to pools and restaurants is a winding set of stairs or an elevator.

We stayed for a night at the suite which was large and comfortable with beautiful views of Patong beach. The breakfast was great. Overall the hotel is well maintained and close to the very busy Patong beach but in a much more peaceful area.

The property is located at very nice location by the sea, the view is amazing, however, it is not possible to swim at the hotel beach because there are big stones. I also got food poisoned at the hotel restaurant and also my colleague had stomach issues after the restaurants food. When I asked for the manager I was told that manager is not available and only the restaurant’s chef spoke to me saying there is no guarantee I got food poisoned at his restaurant and there is nothing he could do!

The hotel is clean, had beautiful views and is located in a very good spot, good distance from noisy streets but at the same time walking distance from Patong area. The breakfast is amazing, staff are good and helpful.

While Amari Phuket has a fantastic location and impressive, there were a few disappointments. The room itself felt very basic; the bathroom was quite small, with limited lighting and little space to relax. Although we had an ocean view room, which gave us a great view, the room had issues like red ants and dampness, which affected our comfort. Service was friendly but nothing exceptional, especially when compared to other hotels we stayed at in Thailand. The breakfast spread was also just okay, nothing that stood out. Overall, Amari Phuket is a good hotel if you want amazing views, but there’s definitely room for improvement in other areas.

Amari Phuket is truly all about the views. The location is phenomenal, offering some of the most stunning panoramas you’ll find anywhere in Phuket. From the moment you step into the foyer, you’re greeted with incredible scenery, which sets the tone for your stay. The breakfast area, swimming pool, and relaxation zones all overlook the waterfront, making every moment feel special and rejuvenating. Waking up to those views and being able to enjoy them throughout the hotel is definitely the highlight of the experience. If you’re looking for a place where the surroundings can take your breath away, this is it! It was our daughter’s birthday weekend and the staff made sure that the bed was made prepared for the birthday and a very delicious cake was also provided! which was an amazing touch, and we loved the cake

The rooms older then expected, could hear every noise and movement through each side of the walls, it was difficult to get into and out of Patong with hotel transfer bus only going at limited times in the afternoon and evening. Also quite bad smell from the pool almost every day!

Position was a little bit far out of town. The rooms were very clean but needed some character. Very plain decor. Could’ve had some paintings or prints on the wall. The bathroom was a problem with the shower. Too much water going everywhere either when you had a room with a bath or with a standalone shower.

I liked the layout of the hotel. The ocean view Rooms were well positioned the staff were extremely nice and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and spacious. Not too far away from the main part of Patong beach but it’s out of the hustle and bustle so you can relax. The food at the Italian restaurant was delicious.
