Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel is perfectly located at the city centre, very close walking distance to old city and cafes, restaurants etc Breakfast was exceptionally good. Staff were very friendly and made really good effort to make us feel comfortable. hotel has very luxurious feeling and it is very good both all kind of events - city breaks, business trips, conferences etc.

Maltathey had small issue with the hot water that tends to fluctuate in the bathroom but as soon as we told them at reception they had to have a look at it right away. Also the bath is very high to get in and out of - not sure what can be done about this but it is high and with a 6 year old we had to watch her to get in and out.
the hotel is kept well and offers a lot of facilities. The staff were amazing in every area of the hotel very friendly patient courteous and simply made our stay even better as they were always helpful and always ready with a smile. The breakfast is very good and of quality catering well for vegans too. The room was slightly on the small side but still comfortable and clean. Housekeeping are very good too. We were very satisfied at this hotel. Distance from old town is like 20 mins on foot and same distance for Bratislava castle.

The place is great it’s new and modern which for me is also slightly a downside but honestly the hotel is perfect if you’re just from Western Europe or US and want a more normal feel.
