Our room's air condition didn't work properly, it did not cool our room at all. Temperatures were over 30 degrees every day and sleeping in that heat was very difficult. I understood that it hasn't worked for a while.. this was only poor thing about this place, with good air condition I would have rated this 9/10.

Welcomed with a glass of Prosecco on arrival , daily jug of freshly flavoured water in reception , friendly staff throughout the hotel ,perfect position to all attractions, great choice at breakfast to suit everyone . Very helpful staff on reception .

Only the bed being a bit uncomfortable with a fairly hard, thin mattress.

This was a great place to stay that’s close walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Bratislava. They also provided a parking space to us for a reasonable price. The breakfast and coffee drinks were also great and the staff were so helpful and friendly! My only small complaint would be that the mattress was pretty hard and thinner than I’m used to, but overall we enjoyed it here and would still recommend it.

We received a free room upgrade. The superior room was big, nicely furnished and had a whirlpool bath. Breakfast was good too, there was no huge variety of food but you´ll find all you need. City center is only a 10-minute walk away.

There is no bar, but this is pretty much the only bad thing and considering how close you are to the town, it doesn't matter.

Very easy to get to by tram either from Petrzalka or the main railway station. Very friendly staff who spoke perfect English and room was really comfortable and quiet. A really great touch was a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and a Bratislava fridge magnet on departure.

I deducted two points for: 1. Old furniture - I’m sure the hotel looked great when it first opened. Now, it looks a bit “old-fashioned” (furniture, lights, etc) and needing renovation 2. A very weird smell coming out of the bathtub, like mould in the drainage. It was really bothering while showering

My room was very large and elegant. Everything looked new and was very clean. And I was offered a glass of sparkling wine to drink while I was checking in! What a nice welcome!

I asked for a breakfast package for the last morning, which was there, but compared to the actual breakfast I had the other days, it was not as great...

The room seemed a little old, but that did not correlate with bad experiences or anything! It was clean, everything I needed was there, and I had plenty of space to store my stuff. I slept well. The location is perfect, I could walk to the old town and all places I wanted, and it was a perfect starting spot for a morning run. If I did want to take public transport, the bus station was just a 2 min walk. Lastly, the reception staff was very friendly.

The room was quite old. The lightnings near the bed didn’t work properly, the socket near the bed didn’t work, and there was a shortage of sockets in general. The shower didn’t work properly as well.

Location is okay (ish). Staff is super friendly and helpful. Room is decent and clean. Breakfast is served from 7am and is plenty. The barista prepares "personalized" coffee for everyone. Recommend it for short stays.

A little dated, but not a problem. One small glitch: on one side of the bed, there was a plug for charging a phone, or plugging in a device. But not on the other side, where the telephone was. Not many folks need access to the hard-wired phone or the ethernet connection any more.

Very pleasant staff (my wife speaks Czech, I speak only English and German) and they were very pleasant and helpful in all languages. Offered us a welcome drink, explained breakfast procedures, asked about parking, everything. The breakfast was excellent: accommodating for both big-breakfasters (eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans) and vegetarian/vegan options. Wide selection and interesting choices. Room was upgraded to a suite. Jacuzzi bath was a bonus. Suite had multiple TV screens (over the bed, on the wall, even in the bathroom. A decent desk for work (a requirement for me, even when it's a pleasure trip), and that was provided with a decent chair. A little note offered the loan of a laptop ... nice touch. Small fridge filled with mini-bar items. A kettle and instant coffee/tea was provided. (So cooking and on-site food prep would be limited, but that was not our need). Location was great. Ten minutes to downtown in a pleasant stroll. Just outside the inner city, but close. We had windows open, and the street noise was minimal. Birdsong in the morning. A bonus: opening the windows turns off the air-conditioning. Why doesn't every hotel do this?
