I really missed curtains, would have liked to have some shade from morning light . I did not like at all to find two bicycles and their repair tools inside the kitchen one night and the following morning. I had to leave early, and did not meet the staff in the morning, so I do not know if the staff have them removed, but kitchens are meant for food, not a parking space. Beware of the rude German bikers!

The structure is basic, as you expect in a hostel, but I like the atmosphere. The location is very nice and quiet, the staff was very friendly. Nika has it all I needed except curtains at the window. Breakfast was not available at the time of my stay but I was happy to use the kitchen.

Your 'mileage' may vary depending on how crowded the place is ... I imagine high season can be a bit more of an issue for some with noise, and waiting for bathrooms. But, again, not a problem for me in shoulder season.

Reception was excellent, always nice to have someone with good people skills (and a smile) at check-in. Room was plenty large enough - but I was the only person (at my age , not really into dorm rooms), nice to be accommodated with this privacy. Communal kitchen, with full size fridge is always a plus. Kitchen can be 'taken over' by large groups (like families) but wasn't an issue for me. Enjoyed having the sound of the stream outside my room.

I stayed in Tina apartments and rooms not the Youth Hostel Nika because of a group booking - this was ok, but there was no access to a kitchen (which I thought there was in Nika) and the bathroom was small. There was also no bedside light

Reasonable price for the area and the staff were happy for me to do a late check-out as it was not peak season

There was only two bathrooms (men/women) for the whole floor but we didn't have to wait when we had to go. Nowhere a space to hang the wet towels in the room.

Location was amazing, Parking was right in front of the door, everything needed for one night was in the room(clean bed sheets, towels), comfortable beds, Kitchen had everything important, wifi connection was good, a sink was in our room to brush teeth if one didn't want to go for that to the bathroom, person checking us in was very nice, price for the room was good Very good value 👍

The room was ok but it was hot at the top floor. The kitchen was dirty and the refrigerator didn’t work very well. The shower didn’t had a curtain or a door. We came for one night it was satisfying and the hostel is close to the river which is great!

It is a city for skiing and only. We stayed there for 1 night on the way to Croatia. It was a decent stay, but it was too expensive for a hostel looking dormitory. The city looks very overpriced and far from the world.

River right next to the building. Sleeping there was fantastic.

Amazing location with a great view of the mountains, lovely walking trails nearby, lots of bars and restaurants in town. The hostel was clean and the kitchen was bigger than expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

The floor in the room was a bit dirty and dusty. No internet connection on the last floor.

The staff was super helpful. He helped me with my work-related issues. There are common spaces on the ground floor with a kitchen and a room for bikes.

Maybe a bit too far from the city centre, but certainly walkable distance. No complaints otherwise.

The staff was super friendly and they upgraded our room at no extra cost. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning. I will definitely visit again.
