Katja and Ryan truly care a lot about their guests, and you'll feel very welcome. They are more than happy to chat and share all their knowledge about the area. Amazing location right by the river in a quiet area, a great base for exploring or simply just relaxing. Great breakfast every morning to start the day! Clean, comfy, and spacious rooms as well, and lots of outdoor hang out spots to chill or meet fellow travelers. It is possible to stay here without having a car; just count on some extra time walking to and waiting for busses when moving around :)

The hosts, Ryan and Katja, are really friendly and supportive. They even recommended me a local party which was so fun and gave me a ride to the bus station. Their cooking is also really delicious and healthy, especially apple strudel. This place is a bit far from Bled lake but you can walk to Vintgar Gorge and surrounding villages conveniently.

its clear for me that the hosts treat you like family, if not better. everything was extremely clean and comfortable. i met some people from germany, france, the us, etc. would truly recommend. also the balcony by the river, with the couch, is a great spot to relax. thanks again!

Beautiful location, large balcony and large garden to relax. Katja and Ryan are wonderful hosts, the breakfast is fantastic. It's super clean. Lots of walks in the area. I highly recommend a stay with Katja and Ryan, they will look after you!

I never leave reviews but this is the best hostel I've stayed in. Being out of town ain't a problem, it's much closer to the good hiking spots, and it's a really nice bus ride/walk to and from the lake. Breakfast is amazing and the kitchen has all you need. Stay if you can.

EVERYTHING! It’s the most incredible hostel I’ve ever stayed. The location it’s not the closest to Bled Lake, but it’s AMAZING, totally worth it. The hosts are incredible people, helpful and kind. If you enjoy nature you should definitely stay there. The breakfast is great too.

A wonderful hostel with friendly hosts. I was traveling by bicycle and this was the perfect spot for me. Not too far from Bled with nearby restaurants. Everything about my stay was great.

We were amazed with extraordinary location, the sound of the river and overall ambient with lights on terrace and balcony. Hosts are extremely friendly, we even got a breakfast for our dog Ksena :) if you're having second thoughts, don't hesitate to book this place. P.s. you will get the best banana bread you can imagine!

Lovely couple owns the hostel. They were super helpful and friendly. They helped us: - plan other stops we could visit on our way back to Ljubljana the next day - find a nice restaurant for that evening - and plan the best path to walk on the nearby river trail through Vintgar gorge. The suggestions were great and we loved chatting with them :) The area is also great and it was only a short walk to the Vintgar gorge in the morning.

The best hostel I’ve stayed in! The location & DELICIOUS with gorgeous nature all around it. The beds are comfortable and there are no more than around 20 guests at a time which makes it feel very homely 😊 the biggest highlight are the owners. They’re hands down amongst the most lovely, down to earth & generous people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting!!! You guys are absolutely killing it and I’m so excited to see your business flourish! I will never forget my time staying here & cannot wait to go back again!

It was the best travel experience ever. Ryan and Katia are super nice people and you will feel like home at their house. I will miss our chats and amazing breakfast. I loved the warm welcoming of the owners, they were super helpful and generous! Super dog friendly which was a big + for us. They got an incredible spot by a river with a big garden, a bbq and even a campfire! Everything there is setup to have a great time !

Matt and Katja were amazing hosts, so welcoming and willing to answer any questions about attractions and transport etc. Lovely people! Breakfast was good, and a well stocked kitchen to cook yourself. Everywhere clean. Plenty of places to chill, including hammocks and sofas outside. Also nice to be besides the river, but the water is very cold. Nice quiet location in a village in the hills near Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge.

Nothing that bothered me.

The hosts are the stars of this very nice and chill place. Ryan and Katja will make sure you have the best time. They were very helpful to us in our stay, because of them, our teip was less stressfull. Breakfast was delicious and loads of variety. Everyday a difrent fresh baked cake by Katja was my to go to. The place is well connected to bled and with grocerie store nearby. Also a very lovely restaurant with slovenian food.

Everything was simply perfect !!

Rayan was incredibly nice and helpful ! He is really a very kind person and extremely helpful. I checked in very late as my bus got late unexpectedly, so he stayed there waiting for me to reach and I even got surprised finding him in the bus station waiting to guide me as I was alone and it was dark over there. His wife is super nice too and was assisting me and briefing me about the area better than one guide I got later and for whom I uncessary extra paid 😅.She provided me with a map, area description, and she Was helping with pleasure. U will not feel that she is doing it by obligation. She really does is with a lot of love. They were very welcoming and available every min u will require their help. It was really a very beautiful place to stay, clean, well organized, confortable and PERFECT !!!! I really HIGHLY recommand it ! A lot of love to this couple 🧿❤️❤️

Absolutely everything: it starts from one of the most generous hosts and their beautiful villa near a river where the rippling sound of the water makes you fall sleep. The hosts are the main gems here , everything was very clean , comfortable. The breakfast was top notch , I would not forget the homemade Zucchini bread by Katia. During my last days, I was relocated to a room which had even better view of the river and I could hear the sound of it all day. All the hikes I did there are absolutely memorable. I know for sure where to stay next time.

The wifi was a bit spotty.

I highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers and others who enjoy nature and want to get away from tourist hot spots. The hosts Ryan and Katya have worked hard to create a comfortable, relaxing, and affordable "home away from home" in a beautiful location. The hostel is spotless and cozy, with large rooms and plenty of space to lounge around inside and outdoors. The kitchen is well equipped and guests also have access to fresh vegetables and herbs growing on the property. Ryan and Katya made sure that I felt comfortable on the property and offered great advice for exploring the area. I traveled without a car and had no issues using the bus system and my own two feet to get where I wanted to go. The other travelers I met at the hostel were also very kind, friendly, and down to earth.
