Unpleasant staff at reception

Didn’t like the white butter at breakfast… it’s the only thing I can complain about…. The price is high, but worth the value

Everyone working at the hotel was amazing. I travel a lot and can honestly say they have my most-favorite and unique breakfast I’ve ever seen. (Cheeses and meats fresh from farms, great breakfast options included). The location is also perfect and pets are welcome! :-) Don’t know what the place doesn’t have another star…

Excellent location, super friendly staff. Room comfortable, air conditioning working fine in a really hot time. Breakfast good, freshly cooked warm dish served. No parking, but public parking nearby.

The first night the AC didn’t work and we couldn’t sleep the whole night, it was unbearably hot, we had to open the window to let some air in, but it didn’t help. The AC is located next to the door, not in the main room. The second day it was fixed and it worked perfectly, but the first night we were ready to move out. If you like to wake up late, remember that the cleaning staff will finish their work before 12 and then would go home. The bathroom wasn’t clean enough. The water in the sink didn’t go down, I had to unscrew the plug and there was a huge bunch of stuck hair, I had to clean it all with my hands for a while to let the water go down. It wasn’t a good experience.

This is a small hotel with a great location. There’s an amazing La Petit Cafe next to it, we ended having breakfast and dinner there many times. The bus stops are very close, we took a bus to ‘Drama’ from train station and then took a bus from ‘Krizanke’ back to the train station. We always walked to all the main attractions on foot, because it is so close to everything. And the hotel is not on a noisy street. The room was tiny, but enough space for everything (we had three huge suitcases). There was a kettle, safe and great fridge. They gave us two bottles of water each day. The shower gel and body lotion smelled sooo good.

It would have been even better if the bar area had stayed open into the evening, but this is not a big deal.

Everything was great!

Very friendly staff who recognised us from our previous visit at the start of our holiday. We were able to stay in the same room as before as we liked it so much. We had mentioned a smell from the bathroom drain on our previous stay and there was no smell on our second stay.

The staff at breakfast could be more welcoming and explain to guests how things work when they arrive. Once you start talking to them, they are good but they stand around awkwardly waiting for you to approach them first.

Bed was very comfortable. Lovely quiet room as requested. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Great location near the river but away from the noise.

Spotlessly clean, modern small family-run hotel. Friendly and efficient. Great location in a quiet spot near the university. 5-10 minutes stroll from the main tourist drag by the river. The rest of central Ljubliana including the train station is walkable within a 25 minute radius (it is a compact city.) Very good nearby cafes and restaurants.

The water pressure in the shower was lower than I would have liked but there was plenty of hot water. The WiFi occasionally disconnected and I had to turn off my phone's WiFi then turn it on again to reconnect, but most of the time worked fine.

Perfect location. Only a few minutes walk from the main points of interest but in a quiet side street not directly on the river. The Sunday flea market, which is a must, is 5 minutes away. Tivoli Park is about 15-20 minutes walk. The room, which was quite large, contained everything required, including things we didn't have in other more expensive hotels, like a cupboard with storage place for clothes (other hotels only had hangers), a shower with a door that closes instead of just a half door which allows the water to splash out onto the floor. The toiletries were of good quality. The bed was comfortable, with a quite soft mattress (maybe not everyone's taste but I liked it). A/C worked fine and the TV had a wide range of channels. Breakfast was very good with a choice of specially prepared to order omelettes with various fillings or hash brownies, various cheeses and salamis, fresh fruit and vegetables, good coffee and more. There is an indoor dining room or if the weather is good you can eat in the vine covered outside courtyard. Staff were helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel needs to add an additional coffee machine for the morning breakfast. There was a 'line' waiting to get the morning coffee.

Room was excellent. Staff were excellent. Location was perfect. Compliments to the kitchen staff who prepared a breakfast for us as our final day we had to leave before the breakfast room opened. The front desk arranged for this.
