Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SloveniaI would expected a warm room waiting for me, given that it was only 4 degrees outside. The room was cold. I also detected the smell of food from the towels, which surprised me, considering that the restaurant below was not open. I believe that these problems will be fixed in the future.

SloveniaIt bothers me that it is necessary to leave the room by 10 am. If you want to have morning coffee and breakfast, you have to carry your luggage with you or it must first be delivered to the remote garage. It's a free bus, but still inconvenient.
I was satisfied with the price and that it is in the center of Piran.

United KingdomDon’t think that the room we had was particularly good value for money. It was basically furnished and the bathroom was tiny. Bear in mind that you have to add approx. €25 p/d mandatory parking fees if you come by car and the car park is a bus ride away or a good walk. The entrance area to the apartments smells of the restaurant bins.

Room was a good size. ( we have 2 large suitcases ) Air conditioning worked well. Location was excellent - close to bus station and main sightseeing areas. Good shower but small bathroom. Comfy bed. We were in room 4 on second floor - window looked out onto magnolia tree outside. Lovely view. Restaurants close by.

CroatiaThe city is overpriced. Accommodation too. Not this host specifically but all of them. We visited in March and a simple bread in the supermarket was costing 3.40 euros! If you come inside with a car and don't manage to unload your luggage in 15 minutes they will charge you 3 euros! Crazy
