Location perfect on lake bled foreshore. Small personal hotel with friendly helpful staff. Forecourt overlooking the lake a superb place to lounge and eat and drink.

Beautiful vila in front of the lake, nice location with beautiful view to the castle and church, nice decorated room, the hotel has a restaurant in the ground floor open at convenient hours, the breakfast is served there, multiple alternatives of breakfast to select from, helpful personnel, secure parking.

Not the most pleasant staff, we weren't welcome the way we excepted. Theres no reception and you have to ask the waitress to give you the keys. I'd say for this price we expected at least a reception of some kind

Our room was quite small, little space to move. Not the property’s fall but as our window was close to the entrance, during the night some guests ( I suppose) were rudely knocking at our window looking for the hosts (?!)

Outstanding location, especially the restaurant by the lake, also is next to the Bled Castle. Charming views. Private parking is also very convenient.

Staff were exceptional, going above and beyond for us the entire stay and they were all very friendly. Very clean and always smelt lovely. Good food at the restaurant (staff were again brilliant), comfortable stay and nice balcony with a view. Music at the restaurant was a nice surprise one afternoon.

Great communication prior to our visit, however, check-in was disjointed and confusing. Restaurant staff check you in through the restaurant and they often did not know who was in charge. We waited quite a long time to find out our room was not ready yet and when we returned, we waited for the right person again to get the key to our room. Check out was similar with needing to find the correct person to return the key to.

Very nice pension on Lake Bled. We had a ground floor private suite with balcony which was very large and comfortable. It was rainy when we were there so breakfast was indoors, ordered from a menu. We had their take on an English breakfast, which was eggs, bacon and beans - no tomatoes or mushrooms. Parking was provided out back which was very nice to have. The restaurant was quite busy the whole time and their bakery items looked great, although we did not partake.

We were unlucky in that our room had a few problems. The shower handle broke, however the staff were very helpful and they finally fixed it. The hairdryer in our room didn’t work, however we were travelling with another couple so I used theirs.

We were about 10 metres from edge of lake. Was a beautiful outlook and not very far to walk up to castle.

It was more than I expected ,It was a very good decision to book this hotel, once at Penzion vila Preseren I thought that I was very lucky to get myself in this place. Clean ,breakfast was excellent and view was the cherry on the cake..perfectly amazing.

Perfect location on Lake Bled. Fantastic room with lounge area. Made to feel very welcome. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional - we couldn’t have asked for more. The restaurant was great and served wonderful food and nice breakfasts. This is a super place to stay!

Nice location right next to the lake, good lake view from the room and balcony. Spacious room including a living room with additional bed. Breakfast is good and restaurant is next to the lake.

Nothing really.

I thought the service was excellent and everyone smiled. We asked for certain things at breakfast and it was brought straight away. Cocktails were really nice. Location was fabulous as it was right on the lake track and a short walk from the bus stop. One of the kind staff drove us to the top of the castle as he could see we were seniors. The lady at reception helped us with the tv controls. All staff could speak English.

Couldn't find anything to fault!!

Two huge big rooms [bedroom & lounge area ] with a large balcony overlooking the gorgeous lake!! We were so enchanted that we just had to open a bottle of Prosecco & sit on the balcony & watch the sun set! It was very beautifully decorated, clean with very comfy beds [second bed set up in the lounge] with a large clean, stylish bathroom! All members of staff we encountered were super friendly & helpful & even a sudden unexpected downpour couldn't dampen our stay! We enjoyed a lovely meal on the terrace downstairs & the following morning a delicious cooked breakfast was available as part of the package! This property is right on the lakefront & was quiet & peaceful!

There was nothing I didn’t like

Our room was large, very well appointed and extremely comfortable with lovely views of Lake Bled. It’s well situated on the lake and close to walk to Bled Castle. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was exceptionally good.

Dinner at the restaurant was just so-so and is expensive for the quality but the view is exceptional. Breakfast was nice.

It is a wonderful location - right on the path around the lake with a lovely terrace. The woman at reception was very helpful
