Functional hotel in good location for Piran

Breakfast was fine, nothing special and it would have been nice to have the option to be outside. Coffee was disappointing. Bedrooms are on the small size and bathrooms even smaller - you bang your elbows on the door and shower screen as you use the sink & manoeuvre around. There were 3 of us sharing the room and we asked twice for a third chair for the balcony but told they didn’t have any. The outdoor pool is on the resort site but a short walk - it didn’t look very inviting so we didn’t bother using it. Unfortunately there’s no bar so no atmosphere or buzz at night time, however we ate out in Piran every evening & made sure we had a pre or post dinner drink there.

Great location for walking into Piran. Lovely views from the balcony overlooking the sea. We stayed for 7 nights and used the indoor pools and direct access to the sea ever day which was very convenient.

The room was on the smaller side for two persons and a child. We were not able to book a half-board via Booking.com and had to pay the full price (25 € per person) for a buffet dinner, unlike our family member who stayed in a separate room and who booked on the same day as us. There is no beach in front of the hotel and you have to enter the sea via a small, overcrowded ladder. The sun umbrellas are not included in the price and are paid for extra (10€ per day).

The room was clean, well-designed and modern. The sea view was great. The breakfast provided sufficient options. The indoor pool complex in the hotel, with sea water, was amazing, especially if you have kids. The staff was nice and helpful. The proximity to Piran is good and there are frequent buses that go between the two cities. Parking is included in the price.

    - ordinary breakfast (every day the same) = not worth of 4* hotel - we asked for 2 rooms next to each other or connected, but hotel was full and we had rooms quite far

    Nothing. Everything was excellent.

    - the quietness - location of the hotel - spacious and clean room, very comfortable bed - indoor pools with salted water - the fact that all the ‘facilities’ were right next to you: sea, sunbeds, indoor pool, spa and restaurants.

I was disappointed to find out that drinks, even just water, during dinner weren't included and were charged extra—at restaurant-level prices! Also, the view from our balcony wasn't exactly what I expected. I thought we'd see the open sea, but instead, we were looking at the other side of the bay. The photos when I booked showed the open sea. Plus, access to the sauna wasn't included and cost extra, which was a bit of a letdown.

The place was super clean and comfy. The breakfasts and dinners were tasty, offering a great variety of options. The location was pretty good as well. It was my birthday trip, and I found a little bottle of sparkling wine in my room—it was a very nice touch! Thanks!

Salt water pool was great but could have had at least one non salt room. And a greater variety of food would have been better. And lack of access to tap water at evening meals.

Close to the sea, clean and airy. Really comfortable and modern rooms.

The fact they charged for sun loungers & shades by the beach - it cost us as a family of 4 nearly €50 p/ day which is exorbitant. Given there was no sandy beach we didn’t really have any alternative.

Good selection of pools & access to sea Inflatables in the sea Location was good - walkable to Piran

The food options were not very varied, the restaurant was always crowded and the staff could have been friendlier. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were filled with seawater; a freshwater alternative would have been nice. For three consecutive nights, there was no hot water, though we did receive a discount after complaining. The parking lot was overcrowded, and if you leave your spot, don’t expect to find another one when you return.

The hotel offers a stunning view of the seaside, just a few steps away from the beach. It features both indoor and outdoor pools, providing great options for relaxation. The room was comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, and the balcony door was soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful stay.

It’s so big! Be prepared to walk a lot to get to places although access for all is well considered. After being in Slovenia for two weeks and then coming here felt like another world. Huge place, loads of people, jostling for food over the buffets. Parking was also a problem. Really unhelpful parking attendants. Unwelcoming. Almost left to work it out for yourself. We never managed to get a proper space for the whole three night stay. There’s also no evening bar area so there is nowhere to sit and have a drink before dinner without going either into the restaurant or going outside the hotel.

The location is spot on! Our family room was beautiful. Two separate rooms within one. Separate bathrooms, own TVs and separate balconies. Our teen loved it. Really clean and food is good. Breakfast especially is extremely well catered for although so busy and needing two sittings. We had a problem with our first room allocated but we were well looked after by Marco and all sorted swiftly. The swim area is really lovely and easy. Never had any issue getting a sun lounger, beautiful views. No sand. Just climb down the provided steps right into the sea and swim or use the lovely heated indoor salt water pool and spa.

Now, this is a strange thing: this hotel is a complete architectural disaster. The building is an open V shape, following the coastline; the central areas (reception, restaurant, bar, etc.) are at one end of this V. We got a room at the other end; I measured, it was 180(!) m from the restaurant. So, every time, we went out to town, gone to swim, had breakfast, etc., we needed to walk almost half a km inside the building. Sporty. :) Moreover, the entrance is like a door to a residential house's stair-hall, I would not have found it without help; really weird. None of it could be helped by the staff, of course.

Well, it is beachfront. :) Need I say more? Balcony almost over the sea, beautiful view and the feeling of being privileged. The hotel has its own beach terrace (the beach itself is public and is actually a ladder into the sea) with sunbeds and 2 indoor pool areas with pools, jacuzzis and water slides for kids. On bikes (we rented them right at the hotel building, Eur 25/24h) both Piran old town and Portoroz is 6-8 minutes. The hotel is kind of impressive, the rooms are nicely furnished and adequately equipped. Breakfasts offer ample variety. Interestingly, the hotel personnel (receptionists, cleaners, spa/beach staff) were very kind, going out of their way to help, while the restaurant service basically was next to rude.

There could be more sun beds outside - a lot of people wanted to lay by the water but there were not enough sun beds outside, whereas inside by the indoor pool there were at least 50 that were not being used. Lifeguard said they cannot bring these sun beds outside and that resulted in hotel guests laying on the ground outside. Sun beds could have cushions. Parking could be bigger, because at one point there were no available parking spots.

Absolutely fantastically located hotel. It's close enough to Portoroz "downtown" but far enough from all the noisy crowds. It's located almost within it's own little "village", next to a 3* and a 5* hotel - all part of one complex with little market, promenade, shared beach, marina etc. Pictures don't really do its justice! The hotel is dog-friendly, provides the "pet inside" doorknob tag, a dog bed and a dog treat. The bed was very comfy and breakfast offered great variety of foods. Good restaurants in proximity to the hotel. Available parking on-site.

The hotel is located directly on the promenade. It cannot be approached directly by car, you have to park about 100 m away. The hotel has a garage, 10 EUR/day surcharge. You can have breakfast and dinner in two shifts. Abundant and good supply. Drink prices are common in the area. It is recommended to wear shoes on the beach. It has several indoor pools for both young and old.
