Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is a 25-minute walk from the centre, but it is great that the accommodation provides parking for the car. The room was very clean and was perfect for those who want an accommodation just to rest after a long day visiting Ljubljiana.

Parking next to the apartment is a big plus. It was cold when we visited and the apartments were nice and warm.

SlovakiaVery, very nice staff. There is also a bar with very good local beer called Union. Hotel is loated about 20min to city center by foot. Room was nice and clean and a place was quiet. City center of Lubljana is so beautiful, that I hope I can go there again.

United StatesNo frills place, no TV, about 25 min walk to downtown. No elevator, which can be a problem for people with heavy bags.
Free enclosed parking, the last check my us in spoke really good English. The room was pretty clean. Location was pretty good, some reviewers were mentioning train noise, it wasn't a problem at all, we could barely hear them.

United KingdomIt's 2km walk from the centre, and there's nothing to see on the way there. 2km in other direction to big mall and Michelin star restaurant. Ljubljana is quaint and worth a visit.
Air con and very effective shutters for siesta in summer heatwave. Owner gave a nice tour and communicated well for everything.

HungaryUncomfortable bed, little bit smelly room (maybe smoke?). No one could speak in english with us.
The aircondition works well. The parking was in a big court, which is not closed, but it has a barrier. Little bit noisy, but it's understandable, because the trains are close to the hotel and the hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the center. The staff is kind, but they don't speak in english.

Czech RepublicFrom the windows of my room I could see the railway which was very close to the guesthouse. I would have not been able to sleep with windows opened all the night. But thanks to the air-conditioning I could have the windows closed so there were no troubles with sleeping after all.
The location of the guesthouse was convenient because I visited an event near the local hospital and it took only 10 minutes to get there. The personnel was very kind and generous and the room was clean and cozy.

Karla the owner was very helpful with local information and arranged the airport shuttle, which is good and cheap. Room was a good size, and it was in a very quiet part of town. It was about 30 minutes to the centre, but it is a pleasant walk,some of it along the river. We recommend staying here!

Staff were very nice and helpful. Quiet, clean and comfortable room and had everything required. Altho it is not in the city centre, still close in this small but nice city. Definetely worth the money, compared to other prices in the city.
