Our room was exceptionally large and beautiful from a design perspective, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was also excellent, both wait staff and chef. A real highlight was the cellar.

Slovenian Toscana. Similar to our Croatian Istria. Beautiful surroundings. The owner Darko is very friendly, gave us lot of tips about premium Slovenian sparkling and still wines. Most of the very impressive Slovenian wineries are just few minutes from the hotel. Hotel itself has one of the most beautiful vinotheques we have ever been, and we have been around.... Hotel proudly presents its very refined Michelin star aspiring Restaurant which we warmly recommend

Dinner was superb. Room spacious, clean, well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very nice when you could find them, but there was no-one on reception when we arrived (6pm) and guests had difficulty checking out the following morning because there was no-one on the desk for long periods

When we came back to the hotel Sunday night the door could not be opened with our entrance cards. We hat to ring the owner who immediately could solve the problem. I was lucky to have the phone number with me, otherwise I do not know how we would have been able to solve the issue.

Breakfast was very nice, staff very friendly, the late lunch we booked for Sunday 3pm was excellent!! The location is wonderful, we will come back.

The staff seems like they do not want the guests to be there, they make no effort to make you feel welcomed or try to ask could they help with anything. For example during the 2 days, not once anyone came to the pool to offer drinks, you always have to go to the reception to make the order

We stayed in the double room this time. It was nice, but small and bright during the night from the outside lights (this should really be fixed ASAP!). However, tje difference between regular room and a suit, where we have stayed before, is huge - if you can afford to, chose one of the suits for your stay.

We got married in this hotel a year ago so we obviously love it! It's beautiful and the restaurant is amazing. However, it has recently changed owners, and when we spent a night here for our anniversary we were surprised at the lack of staff. There was nobody at the front desk in the evening, nobody to serve drinks in the terrace, the waitress at the restaurant didn't even speak Slovenian etc. The price for the room is also quite inflated, but it's true every place in the vicinity is almost as expensive in high season. All in all, we might come back in a few years for nostalgic reasons, but I really hope the staff situation improves by then.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, hotel staff went out of their way to organise a visit to a local winery for us. Restaurant food while pricey (for Slovenia) is worth every penny.

If I had any complaint at all - sheets were a little scratchy, but I still slept amazing.

The most beautiful setting to take in Slovenia. Do yourself a favor and walk around on the streets outside the hotel to take in all the views. Very friendly staff. Outstanding restaurant (one of the best meals we had) and the server suggested excellent wines and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Well appointed rooms and spacious bathroom.

It was all good.

A lovely mini-castle just on the Slovenian side of the border, with views over the vineyards of Brda and Collio. This design hotel is a great place to stop for a night or two, to sample the local wines and restaurants. They have their own very good restaurant on the lower floor, complete with a wine cellar featuring many of the best regional wines.

Wonderful location, in the heart of the wine valley of Goriska Brda, Hotel Gredic is a gem overlooking the vineyards. Extremely quiet, it's the perfect place for an incredibly relaxing stay. Our suite was very spacious, with lovely views and all facilities you would expect from a hotel of this level. Do yourself a favour and make sure you book a place for dinner, the chef and his team and the wonderful staff will make it into an absolutely memorable evening.

Beautiful boutique hotel set amongst wineries. Everything was first class. Lovely, large bedroom, beautiful bathroom, lovely swimming pool with winery views. Excellent restaurant. Make sure you visit Movia winery, booking advised.

There's not much I didn't enjoy about Gredic. The room did get slightly warm in the morning sun but maybe I just couldn't figure out the AC. Otherwise our stay was exceptional and I would definitely go back.

My partner and I stayed only one night but wish we would have stayed longer. The room was a decent size overlooking the pool area. The bed was large and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed an afternoon at the pool with wine.

The bed was awfully uncomfortable (maybe that is just me), lamp on my side of the bed was broken ( not just the lightbulb, you couldnt even try to turn it on)…i mean, generally that is not a big deal for me, but for the price you pay you would expect at least a decent mattress and a room put up together.

The views are incomparable, dinner is exceptional, staff really friendly, amazing wine cellar, overall concept and design is nice

Staff at the reception was fantastic to arrange dinner and wine tasting at our request last minute. We had the most amazing time here . Wine tasting, dinning at the Michelin guide restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Food service and staff were absolutely fantastic. They have a great wine cellar we purchased most of our wines. Highly recommended.
