Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandApartment Zvan is a very special place, we loved our stay there!Clean, quiet and comfortable with 2 balconies and Amazing views!A lovely breakfast brought to the room every morning with eggs from their own hens and all homemade.Ivan and Marija are welcoming and considerate hosts.There is no washing machine but they will wash a load for you for a small fee.A great location away from the touristy area of bled in the tranquil and unspoilt countryside and a good base for exploring the many beautiful places around.I was sad to leave that view!

United StatesUnfortunately, my flight was canceled four times. Despite the fact I was staying eight days and had to show up four nights late, the hosts were not willing to refund any nights or give me a discount. I understand people need to make a living, but not even a discount was pretty disappointing.
The location was great and my balcony looked out onto the mountains.

Czech RepublicThe only thing to be aware of is the stairs going to the apartment, as it is on the top floor. They were a bit steep and a bit difficult with luggage but nothing we could not manage.
The Apartment Žvan was our favourite location in the whole of Slovenia. Our apartment was spacious, including all the amenities we would need for staying much longer than just 2 nights, and despite it being on the top floor under the roof, it was not hot at all. Ivan and Marija are lovely people, who run the guesthouse perfectly, and they helped us with anything we needed - they called a local car mechanic when we had an issue with our car. The breakfast was delicious and they even made gluten-free pancakes for me, which was such a sweet gesture.

Czech RepublicMarija is a lovely host. Apartment is sparkling clean. Kitchen very well equipped. The view amazing. We were so happy we decided to stay longer. By car it's very close to the lakes. Supermarket Mercator is close too, as well as post office and petrol station. Ivan's homemade marmelade is divine! Definitely will recommend further and will be happy to come again!
