Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Singapore1) we came in, and asked for 2 extra pillows. the pillows was dusty. 2) no instructions were given on how to work the projector. wifi was rather slow. front desk staff also dont know how to use it. had to buy hdmi connector to screen mirror our phone 3) the shower head water pressure was sooooo weak. didnt have a great shower this morning. 4) iron board is shared. had to go up to level 2 to use. not convenient for hijabis. once all these issues are fixed, i think this hotel would be perfect!
the room was amazing. its spacious. the toilet was also very spacious.

SingaporeThe lady at the front desk was very nice but advised me on arrival that the room we had booked was flooded and so we’d only have the one remaining room which was a small dingy room that was a lower caliber room with no cinema function. Not happy with this I was upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was not a suite - the bath looks dirty and the fixtures and fittings are dated and old which arguably is mice in terms of the feel of the place; but not when you feel it’s dirty. The TV would not switch on so I went to call reception but oh wait, no phone either. Didn’t meet my expectations and nothing I could do about it at 11pm so I decided to leave before midnight. So essentially paid for 4 hours only.

AustraliaDo not be fooled by all the nice photos and advertisements on their profile. Rooms are very small and dated with stains on walls and bedding. Damaged tiles in the bathroom. There is this damp and musty smell in the room which makes you feel sick instantly. We checked in at 9 PM and walked out 30 mins later to find another hotel nearby.

Location. Bugis is the best location for food enthusiasts. I believe this is the sole advantage for the hotel.

VietnamThe place is in dire need of a refurbishment - everything looks tired and grubby - it is trying to be hip -and probably was when it opened but is now very shabby - stairs and floor filthy - bedding was clean but room not cleaned every day-we had to ask for supplies to be refilled - sad it is a lovely heritage building in dire need of TLC
One staff member (male) was very helpful replaced the kettle and fridge- kettle was filthy and fridge did not work - he should get a bonus because he was the only person who seemed to care about the guests. Location was good -very convenient

SingaporeI would have given the property a good review if it was priced lesser. With the price charged, I could have gotten a better hotel. The property is poorly maintained even from the exterior. The lift felt unsafe too. The room’s equipments are questionable - Shower head broken and was taped with a yellow tape - Bath tub was broken - Room door was chipped - The room was generally dusty - Fridge was not even cold - King size bed was 2 single beds combined, with no bed frame either My room was not cleaned after my first night. Only when we feedback to the counter and asked for our room to be cleaned, then they did.
The location was convenient.

SingaporeWe booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 2 kids and booking.com recommended for a deluxe room and Honey moon suite. But I was disappointed as the suite was not properly maintained. I can see black mould on the bathroom's wall. The bathroom door was damaged and can't closed at all. The stairs to access to the room was not well lit.
The hotel is near to popular halal restaurants.

Booked for 4 family members, 3 adults 1 child from booking system. But when my wife want to check-in. The staff tell that they can't accept us due to system only can accept 2 adults and 1 child. Explain the manager in charge for that day to accept us since we already booked for 1 night and our house in renovation. Thank you for helping us and let us stay at hi hotel, even though not our fault.

Malaysia- Bad management. Denied our booking confirmation made via booking.com. - Very unprofessional staffs. Staffs seem to have no idea what they are doing. They lost the key rooms. Had to wait 45 mins for them to find keys to our rooms when we checking in. When we were returning keys during our check outs, they didnt even bother to keep the keys. They just leave it on the counter unattended. I even had to advice them to keep the keys but they still didn’t even keep it. - Bad smell. Dirty room (Dusty, saw cockroach.) Dirty toilet (dirty and patchy flooring). - Old school payment. Does not receive card, does receive QR pay. Only cash accepted.

MalaysiaThere is no battery in the remote control in the room to on the aircon. There is no staff during my 2 days stay there. If you have issues , there will be no helper. We check in by taking the key ourself with the help of the guest of the hotel. There is no staff around at night. These phone number that they given is useless. Nobody will pick up the phone
The hotel is located at bugis. It is about 7min from MRT which is a strategic location. The room is dusty. A lot of the furniture is not well maintained. It look like a scammer hotel as there is ZERO customer service.
