Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThe bell-boys were clumsy and dropped many guests belongings while transporting the bags to the room plus thet never held the door for guests, including myself who had to struggle to open doors while carrying things and a baby while they just walked by. But the most atrocious thing is that if you’re unable to answer the door (ie: in the toilet or something) the service staff will just use their card to open your room door. This happened at 10pm on my last night while my baby was sleeping and I was in the toilet. The guy knocked on the door loudy twice and then used his card to open my door and come in. Only to ask if I needed new towels. It was 10pm and my daughter woke up and was afraid to go back to sleep. I felt very unsafe after that and had to block the door with a chair (there is no chain lock on their doors). Scary and terrible experience. The breakfast is not a buffet but a pricey ala carte menu that didn’t taste very good.
The hotel is just steps away from the Imbiah monorail station which is super convinient. The pipe in music at Bedrock Origin during breakfast was excellent. The check-in staff were friendly and so kind to my 2 year old daughter.

SingaporeIt would be good if the toilet comes with a bidet.
Husband and I had a staycay here for a night. It was our first time staying at Oasia Hotel. It’s conveniently located near Imbiah Station. Ms Gahya checked us in, she was lovely to upgrade our room to Junior Suite. The room was to our liking. It was spacious and cosy. We were impressed and enjoyed our stay.

SingaporeWe were given room 210 which was located right at the entrance where courtyard room guests entered. The door slammed every time a guest entered. Could not have a proper sleep. Wake up thrice in the night due to the loud door slamming. 😔 The courtyard was huge, the bean bag was soaking wet and there was no electric fan in the entire courtyard.

MalaysiaBreakfast option. It was at another hotel at the back of the hotel. In my opinion, SG40 for that selection was unfair.
Free parking! Easy access to everything there! Very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome selection of room service done. The vegetarian spaghetti was unbelievable. Clean premises. Beautiful surroundings and resident peacocks. Modern facilities. Nice bathroom.

United Arab EmiratesThe Suit area not that big. The breakfast buffet not that variety.
Location : The best location ever (Monorail) is opposite the hotel ( Imbiah Station ) so you can use it to go to the beach or Universal/Sea world/ and Vivo Shopping Center. Facilities : Over all good facilities in the hotel or beside, like restaurants/gym/swimming pool, spa , plus a grocery near by. I like too in the room dinning services. Staff : Front desk , Security, housekeeping, restaurant staff in ( Native kitchen ) and (room dinning), all are so kind, cheerful and trying to help. Thanks to Ethan and to all his colleagues in the front desk. Specail thanks to ( Cherlyn ) front desk, without her and her nice set up for my anniversary , I wouldn't get a joy to enjoy that night, so grateful to her and her kindness. Such employee/person makes a nice reputation to this hotel. Thank you. Room : 254 :)

BangladeshThe breakfast selection at the resort is somewhat limited, and the pool facilities are not particularly suitable for toddlers or young children. Consequently, we were advised to utilize the breakfast offerings and pool facilities at the Village Hotel Sentosa, conveniently located just opposite the resort and also operated by the same group, Far East Hospitality.
Nestled conveniently opposite the Imbia Station of the Sentosa Express, the resort enjoys a prime location. Despite the aged exterior of the resort's structure, the interior boasts modern fittings and amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. Our experience in the Junior Suite was synonymous with luxury and comfort, leaving no room for dissatisfaction. However, during our departure from the resort back to the city, we encountered difficulty in securing a taxi. The assistance provided by the front office official, Ms. Diya, was invaluable. Not only did she arrange for a taxi promptly, but she also remained by our side throughout the wait. Additionally, her thoughtful gesture of presenting a small hotel souvenir to my three-year-old daughter left a lasting impression, becoming a cherished memory of our trip in Singapore.

AustraliaNothing!
Hotel location was walking distance to every attraction on Sentosa Island. Renovations were happening in the room next door to us and when we questioned this with reception, they apologised and immediately moved us to another room with a complimentary upgrade. Hotel was clean and very comfortable and staff were very attentive and friendly. I also used the Spa which I would recommend!

SingaporeThe only down side was the breakfast. I really do not like the ideal of the breakfast. The breakfast was to order a main from the given menu. Fruit was served separately. However, the breakfast that I had for two days were really not worth the price I paid. It was cold and not tasty! It will be good if the breakfast could be cooked only upon order and have sides (e.g. French fries, salad etc.) and yoghurt and/or cake to finish the meal.
The room and bathroom are spacious. The location is great, as it is just walking distance from the station. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful.

AustraliaThe upper shelves of the wardrobe were very dusty and had not been cleaned for a while. There wasn't really a nice view from our room. Some of the lights needed fixing as they kept flickering.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed including a coffee machine. The location was very handy and right across from the Sentosa express which takes you over the bridge at no extra charge. We had breakfast on the last day and it was delicious!

SingaporeThere is a severe lack of sound proofing. i can hear my neighbours talking and banging the entrance door when they return to their room. The constant moving of furnitures can be clearly heard too. There is renovation works going on in the hotel building which was not communicated on their website. The hair dryer's switch was broken, leaving a very sharp edge and I was not able to switch it off unless i pull out its plug from the electrical socket.
Location is superb (right next to Imbiah Monorail station) and size of the room was just right for me and my 5yo.
