Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Germany- it would have been good for me as business traveller to have breakfast on weekends also from 6:30 on, however it only starts at 7:30 - walls are rather thin, you may hear sounds from your neighbours

BrazilI'd say I was expecting a bit more comfort in the beds and bathroom considering the price of the stay, the facilities definitely need an update and the closest train station is 10 minutes walking. I wouldn't say this affected our experience as Stockholm is amazing and walking was definitely part of the experience, but its good to know. Way to the station is through a beautiful park and you will get the chance to experience a quiet and nice area. If you have kids I think this is a great option as the park has a playground area.
Breakfast is amazing, it was the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel! Staff is helpful and will go above and beyond to assist you, the hotel offered a comfortable space in the common area, snacks during the day and good options in the restaurant.

CanadaI have zero complaints at all for this hotel. My sister lives in Stockholm and I will stay here again when I visit her.
The warm welcome at reception was very much appreciated. The rooms are very well designed and very Scandinavian, I appreciated the small touches that made it so functional. The hotel has a good location accessible from the metro through a pleasant walk in a park. It seems to be in a historical building in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was quite nice, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, many types of breads, sausage, bacon, fruits, cold cut meats and salmon.

NetherlandsThe cleanliness was ok, not sharp, but ok. The rooms are a bit small, there is not much space to arrange the clothes. The bathroom is a bit oldish, although all was functioning well.
The hotel is in a quiet surrounding, next to a big park, 5 minutes walk from the Metro station and several restaurant and cafe', very practical. Cozy atmosphere, very nice staff, abundant breakfast, very good Swedish Fika in the afternoon. They also serve dinner, the menu is not extensive, but quality and quantity are good. Fast, friendly service. The rooms are not large, but comfy, the kids can sleep on foldable bunk beds. The hotel has a covered parking with electric cars charging outlets.

SerbiaMy only complaint would be that the rooms have poor sound isolation as I kept hearing loud noises from the room above at 7 am.
This was my second stay at the Zinkensdamm hotel so I more or less knew what to expect. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the hotel is in a quiet location close to the main spots in Stockholm. Other than that, the breakfast was really nice and had a lot of variety.

Breakfast was included with our stay and was lovely. Location was next to a park which was nice, quiet and lovely. It was a little far from the city center about at 40 minute walk but we didn't mind. Staff was always on duty and very friendly/helpful.
