Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff were friendly and asked us about how our time in Stockholm had been. We asked for an iron on the first night, they gave one to us and left it with us for the 3 nights we stayed which was helpful. The location was great as it was right next to one station and only a 10 min walk to the main Centrelen station which got us everywhere we needed to go. The food for breakfast was great, and the hotel was clean, quirky in design, and included a roof top terrace, a nice restaurant and a deli store! All our needs were met! It was great!

Clean and quiet room, good breakfast in the morning and a wonderful bar in the evening. Having the small market attached to the property was very convenient. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Overall, great value for the money. Definitely would book here again.

United StatesI'm not of fan of the duvet - here or elsewhere. I was often warm and either covered with that or nothing.
Check in was easy. The hotel is new and everything is in good condition. The rooms are all in the basement, which is a bit unusual, but in the end it didn't bother me not to have a window and it's actually great for quietness at night to sleep, as there's no street noise at all. USB ports were nice so I didn't need an plug adapter coming from USA. Breakfast was really good as is the restaurant in general for other meals. Housekeeping was great. I thought it was a very good value. Close to everying with a metro exit across the street.

I arrived late after a cancelled return flight. The check-in was straightforward and the breakfast well garnished. I checked out at 11am, leaving my luggage in the room. You can go to the roof terrace and have a snack there.

We loved the design and modern ambiance as well as the common areas especially the ping pong! We also enjoyed the smart layout of the rooms and serenity. Breakfast was great and we really appreciated the DELI!

FranceIt's just a personal preference, I would have liked the bathroom to be more separated from the room. The glass wall is not entirely see through but it doesn't allow for a lot of privacy.
The breakfast is great, the common spaces are really cool, the location is perfect. Loved the deli store and the cafe as well.

Switzerland-The lobby area was dirty, with stains on the furniture -The waitstaff did not clean the breakfast tables regularly. Both times we visited, most tables were still covered with dirty dishes. -The receptionist provided insufficient directions to the nearest pharmacy.
