Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Parking was extra but very close by in a secured garage. All in all great for a city stay

Rather small single rooms, but had everything one needs. Blackout curtains would be helpful in June though, as it was hard to sleep after 5 am due to sun shedding through the curtains.

Excellent location, more than worth the money. Very nice breakfast (please beware local milk types to choose the right one for your coffee though). Soft drinks 24 hours, and waffles in the afternoon were a lifesaver. Personnel always helpful and super friendly

does not have own parking, so you have to park your car (own, rental, etc...) on the street and in Gothenburg the parking is easy thru an app, but you have to pay even during the night.

The room was pretty standard, nothing special. Breakfast was very good (hot meals included), tea/coffee and cookies available 24/7 and you can make waffles whenever you want, which I think is a brilliant idea.

The staff was amazing. They care about every details. The hotel is in the best part of the city and I liked the old style of the interior.

The beds weren't very comfortable. They didn't have an ice machine. You had to go up steps to get to the elevator so it wasnt entirely handicap friendly.

Location was amazing! Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and we even had a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom! Free waffles and lattes! Excellent breakfast included with the room! Parking was also affordable and not too far from hotel.

Because the hotel is sorrounded by pubs, It was very loud and I wasn't able to sleep without ear plugs during weekend. You could also hear trams and buses. Hotel should think about changing windows in the future to make them sounds proof.

We were first given a key to a room that was already occupied (guests in it), then were upgraded to a room where the key didn’t work, the third try was however successful Breakfast however is not very fresh - very basic

Rooms were cold and chilly and have seen some days, the tables are scratched and old. The room card stopped working 3 times making us travel downstairs from 3rd floor and waiting for the staff to update it.

The baked goods provided free of charge throughout the day were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. It's located near the beautiful Kungsparken, with city centre within walking distance.

I think the decor is a little outdated, but I still enjoyed the stay very much.

The radiators didnt work so we had to sleep with windows open all night since it was super hot in the room. Scrambled eggs tasted like sugar and rubber.

The very only thing, was that our ventilator in the shower didn't work well, so had to air out in the room, to get the steam out from the shower, but first found out on the morning we were leaving anyway. And the hairdryer in the bathroom were running very slow/low blow, so it could use an upgrade.

Have stayed at Hotel Vasa before, and other than its really good location, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are tidy and clean, there is heaters in the room and heat in the floor in the bathroom, which is a big plus, in the wintertime. Good choice of channels on the tv, and nice beddings. Also an environmental concious hotel, is always a plus. The breakfast buffet is definitely also what brought us back, other than the hotel's "warmth" and location.

The staff had no clue on arrival, she stated your check out tomorrow is 12 - we were staying 2 nights which then also transpired she’d only booked our key for the one night so had to have it rescanned. Our room was not cleaned due to some pjs left on the bed, nowhere does it state they will not touch your room if you leave something on the bed. They took away the old towels but didn’t replace we questioned the cleaner she said I’ll have to check if we can get you some more ! Do not also pay for the upgraded bath as the plug doesn’t work, so we had to sit in the bath with the water constantly running to ensure we could have a decent bath- not great when we have paid the upgrade.

The beds are really on the soft side, but that is just my opinion. The weird thing was, that the window in the room doesn't open at all. That made the air in the room a bit stale and dusty.

Location of the hotel is great, the staff was amazing! Tea and coffee are available all the time in the dining room, which is perfect after a cold evening stroll around the city. You also have cinnamon rolls, cookies and waffle batter to make your own waffles - whenever you like it! There is also a cute little sauna, which the staff turned on just for us. Breakfast was good, a lot of options.
