Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoHonestly, my partner and I didn't find the scrambled eggs appealing as they tasted more like onion and diluted eggs, but the hard-boiled eggs were good. Warm food was not hot, but not cold either, so you needed to eat fast. The rooms were smaller than expected even after seeing pictures online. My room didn't have any windows so it did get really dark with lights off, but it was a cheap option so the no windows room wasn't a big of a problem for me, but I could understand why for some people it is. The room 17 was the one I got assigned. It was in a hall with 3 other rooms. The halls were really noisy, you could hear chats from outside. Also, our room was next to the breakfast room, so I woke up to the noise of the chairs and tables being set up for breakfast, which was a bit annoying.
The breakfast had a mix of cereals, toast including croissants, proteins like eggs, bacon, mix of cheeses, and fruit. And for a sweet ending, they had crepes, nutella and yoghurt. We saw a lot of staff coming in and out of the breakfast room to check the food containers and to make sure they were full. It is a good value for what you pay.

RomaniaWe can still see the dust on the bedside stands, the door needs to be slammed in order to close it otherwise we have to come back checking when somewhere door bipbing.
Quite close to the center, comfortable bed, nice breakfast with lots of basic choices. The hotel is located in the iconic Swedish building so it’s like modern mixed with old time and it’s really cool!

SwedenDespite the official check-in time being 3 pm, our room was not ready when we arrived at this time. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes in the reception. Additionally, as other travelers have mentioned, the breakfast could benefit from a better variety of fruits.
Excellent location, being close to many of Stockholm's attractions and conveniently near a metro station. I stayed for just one night in a windowless room—a common low-budget option in Stockholm, which can feel a bit unusual. However, since we spent most of our time outside, it served its purpose well, offering a fair price compared to other hotels during the same period. The breakfast was quite decent, served in a charming restaurant area. In summary, this is a fair hotel with a good price and a great location.

NetherlandsBreakfast buffet is not that big, almost no fruit, recommend to skip the eggs. Not so much Swedish or local food. The main door in the hotel closes so hard that it can be heard 2 floors up. The single room is very small. The hair dryer looks like it comes from 1990 and the room was a bit dirty. The staff is not often at the desk.
The location of the hotel is great! The straff is friendly. Breakfast area looks cozy. Flexable check in times.

AustriaIf you are staying longer, the couple of hangers and the open wardrobe design may be too small to store clothes.
The single room I stayed in was small, but the layout was really thought through so it was nice and cozy with a big window and sunny view. Bathroom was very modern, there was everything available that is needed for my short weekend stay.

IndiaRoom size, temp control in the room is not adjustable by guests ( can get stuffy ), breakfast has no variations.
The location was excellent. The staff was helpful and knowlegable . The room was small but comfortable enough. The breakfast was standard and sufficient by European standards. The commuter ferry terminus ( route No.80) was walking distance , as indeed was Gamla Stan and other tourist attractions. Plenty of eateries, supermarkets, bars around. For a hotel situated in the most expensive part of Stockholm, this hotel is good value for money.

FinlandThe price was very high. breakfast was so so, the bread and croissants were dry. there was a green policy about not swapping towels every day but just stocking up supplies and making the bed etc. this is great, but the reality was the opposite: towels swapped even if they hung on the rack, Coffee and toilet paper not added, so the cleaning was rather useless and not eco-friendly.
Room was nice and comfy

United KingdomI got a single room in the fourth floor. The room was in the attic and didn't have much space to move around. Luckily I stayed there only at night, but it would have been very difficult to spend time during the day in the room. The lift was out of oder when I arrived. There were engineers trying to fix it during my stay but with no success. It was fine for me, but it would have been difficult for people needing to use the lift.
The breakfast was good. The staff were helpful. There are shops nearby.
