Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Cool hostel with smaller but cozy room. Including bathroom. Staff nice, room clean. Nice design of hostel, bathroom. Great check-in using codes and key boxes (So you can do it whenever you want) And you can keep keys in the hotel. shared kitchen

BelgiumThe bed was past its best time. It was no longer flat, but more bowl-like (dented in the middle). When the shower curtain is closed, the toilet is still in the same area as the showerhead.
Very quiet. Location pretty decent as well, only 5-10 minute walk from metro, which in turn is only 5-10 minutes from the city centre (T-Centralen). Shops very close by and a nice neighbourhood.

GermanyAs the roopm has no windows, it gets quite hot. But we had ventilation and it was ok to sleep.
We sepnt 3 days with our 2 kids here. WE only needed a place to sleep at night and prepare meals. It was a friendly place with a big kithen, fridge and freezer and good equipment to prepare food. Even dishwahers were available. We were very happy with the location, it is a 5 minutes walk to tunelbana and you a close to many attractions and restaurants/shops nearby.

LatviaNo real purpose of windows. Cant open them. Window was located near doors and everyone who passed by can easily see in our room and beds. Window also located next to door button. You need to make your own bed: put the sheets, pillow cases, blanket covers & take them off. Also the bed frames sqeaks a bit. You are not allowed to take your food and drinks to the room. One of the cleaner staff members were creeping us out by exessively looking at us & not letting us eat peacfully. When we asked “ if theres any problem?” he just left & didnt gave us any answer.
Good location. Pillows and mattreses was comfortable. In a room we had hair dryer and ventilator. Clean and tidy private bathroom. Nice dining area where u can cook and store food in fridge. Friendly reception staff. Bonus point of having luggage room for leaving your stuff if your departure is earlier than check-in. At the dining area there was a fresh bread to take.

United StatesTowels provided were hand towels, small for showers. A couple of electrical outlets in the room didn’t work, some of the lights needed new bulbs. My food and drink were thrown away despite being labeled with my room number.
