Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great staff who were very helpful - I forgot her name but the front desk receptionist with the red hair was really quick to assist with our enquiries. The room is also definitely big enough for 2, and it is minutes away from the nearest subway line, which is in turn 4 or 5 stops away from Stockholm Central Station.

United KingdomThe access was via an App. Which worked well but you do need to follow the advice given to close down the App between uses. You could get in to the corridor ok. But then needed to relaunch App to get in the room. They do warn you this is necessary.

GermanyJust one minor thing: As you have to open a lot of doors (entrance, floor, room) doing that with the app was not very convenient (it always triggered my credit cards). But one can change back to a classical key card.
Recently redeveloped or modernized so everything is brand new and in a very good condition. Staff is very helpful when around. It’s also decently central as you can walk to 2 metro lines within some 5 minutes and get quickly everywhere from there.

The staff was enomrously helpful. When I had problems with the wifi, they immediately engaged in this and succeeded in solving the problem. When I needed to have a zoom seminar exactly when the cleaning ladies came, the staff gave me access to a separate room where I could have my zoom seminar. They also gave a lot of good advice about shops, the best ways to matro stations etc.

TurkeyThe necessity to use a phone app to open every door in the building was sometimes not handy. I think you can also request a key card instead but we weren't informed about it until the last day. The curtains were good to block morning sun but they could not be shut tight, so you may wake up real early with sun in your eye.
Very clean, everything was like new. In fact the oven and coffee maker seemed to be first used by us. Room was real cosy with almost every detail for comfort was thought of. It is somewhat far from city center and therefore budgety, but it was too easy to access the bus stop (right across the building) and metro station (5 minutes walk through lilac filled streets).

AustraliaLaundry app was more difficult than I expected for just one wash and options weren't explained in hotel information ...hotel information said we needed to download the Air Wallet app and add login and payment credit card details and load with money. There was NO mention in hotel instructions that there was another manual payment option on the wall in the laundry which would have avoided the whole download of the app and loading with money onto the card! I lost money on this... Be careful!

BelgiumWe booked two rooms and the hotel was not able to put them near each other, not even on the same floor. Anyway, just thanks to this fact we were able to discover the very different standard of the rooms on different floors - this might also explain large difference in reviews found on the internet. Room on floor 6 was very nice and comfortable. Room on floor 3 was poor, even a bit stinky and in general much less comfortable. However, room on floor 3 did have a microwave , while the one on floor 6 did not.
We needed a room to be ready before the usual 15.00 check-in time and the staff was very nice to arrange it for us.

Canadathe only comment i would say is regarding the heating system. It gets very hot very quickly in the room, especially if we use the kitchen for cooking. We should be allowed to play with the heating system/ventilation in our room directly by ourselves. we had to call a technician in. It's a bit unpractical. Paying for clean towels and toilette paper is a strange concept.
Very comfortable place the room is very well arranged. It doesn't look too busy, yet it has everything that is needed and more and the decor is very cute! The hotel itself is well located.
