Some aspects of the room. eg. the shallow pebble wash basin looked stylish but was a bit irritating to use; bed lights too close to the sitting position directly above ones head.

Breakfast was good, staff efficient and pleasant. The building including its history was interesting. Location on the island was unusual and surrounded by trees. Options of walking across the bridge or a ferry to the Old Town and Djurgarden were great. The three armchairs in the room were comfortable; the room was large and light, and windows could be opened.

Nothing really just not a fan of the pebble shaped basin in the bathroom.

Buffet breakfast is varied and served between 7 am and 10 week day. 7:30 and 11 on weekends. It is our second visit to this hotel, which we chose because of its history but also because of its location. You can either reach it by boat or bus just be aware that the services to this island stops around 9 pm, after that it is a walk from the town via a short bridge. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

Never take a nitetime cab in Stockholm, prices are fool.

The Hotel's heritage is so cool, a military barracks, I need to do more research on that!! Room design is cute, location is amazing, few steps from MODERNA MUSEET and don't forget to visit the nearby Toy's Museum, so good!

Oh dear - the pillows!! Surely a personal preference, but even nine of them did not provide the back support that our old bodies needed at night...

Cannot thank you enough for the pleasures you provided for our 5-night stay. You should be very proud of your staff and facilities. Yes, it is expensive to stay with you, but we could not have asked for a more perfect visit. At the end of every busy day, it felt like we were coming home to Mamma's delicious nutritious dinner. We will be back!

Only tiny wardrobe offered for two people staying for almost a week. We had to keep clothes in our suitcases. Breakfast was of limited range. No other options offered, if you asked for anything different. Often the hot food was cold. Not enough room for the guests to move around the Breakfast buffet. A lot of people around the food, breathing over it, touching it.

Only the designer knows why there is water splashing on the designer ceramic stone in the bathroom sink, why the overhead shower has to run in order to start the hand shower, and why there is no bidet. The restaurant lacks draft beer. And watch out for the last ferry, the Skeppsholmen stop is on the sign and the crew might miss it on the way from Gröna Lund. But it can't spoil your mood.

Amazing place on a green island in the middle of everything, between museums, the royal palace and the amusement park. Hotel in a reconstructed historical building with a high standard, friendly service and a unique atmosphere. The windows with original frames are held open using a casement stay, however, the air conditioning is easy to control, the breakfast and food in the restaurant are of high quality.
