Anyone who likes a quiet room to sleep in should ask for a room at the back as the hotel faces the train tracks and tramlines. There were only four coat hangers in a double room, which was fine for one person travelling light, but may not be enough for two. After I had booked I provided my arrival time, around 12 noon, and was told that check in was not until 3.00 pm, but that early check in was available at an extra cost. However, on arrival this did not seem to be the case. I did get the kettle I had requested by email beforehand, but I had quite a wait for it.

The location was very convenient, a few minutes walk from the train station, tram stops and the Nils Ericsson terminal for the airport bus. The room was a good size, clean, with a very comfortable bed. The shower worked well, good pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were excellent, thanks to Sofia and the other breakfast staff. A variety of food to choose from, including pancakes, a range of hot dishes, plus the usual cereals, breads, cheeses, ham etc. There was also a separate area, including a toaster for gluten free products. Everything was well presented and replenished and the tables were cleared promptly. I never had any problem finding a seat. The receptionists were mostly friendly and helpful, particularly the ladies who charged my iPad for me as my charger wasn’t working properly. They also provided information on the Midsummer celebrations and how to get there.

nothing to complain except a small place to have breakfast, because of which one has to plan it in advance to 'reserve' a place in the morning (letting know at the reception is required). Starting it at 7:30 is also a little bit inconvienient, but one can ask the personel to prepare it earlier in a box.

Bizarrely, there was nothing I didn't like.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel which was not far from the train/bus station. It did exceed my expectations. I paid for an upgrade and was pleasantly surprised with the room. It had everything that I required. The breakfast was lovely.

It will be better if there is a fridge and kettle. I heard noises when people of next room shut the doors. It seemed to me the walls are made of cardboard.

The rooms are very basic and they don’t have a hospitality tray in the room for making tea. Our room was facing the railway tracks so it was noisy

- Had one disturbed night with the window open, because it was warm, because the overnight work occurring on the railway directly outside was loud. Largely outside the hotel's control but was part of my experience. - My room had a door adjoining the one next door (locked), and I had a scare at night from the guests next door suddenly trying to open the door. If there is a way to prevent the handle from moving when the doors aren't required, that would prevent future scares.

Our bedroom was smaller than we expected and there was a fan in the ceiling of our room which was impossible to switch off.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and they all speak English perfectly. The breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold food. The location is quiet - especially if your room faces away from the railway.

Missing cabinet/ wardrobe, no fridge and we had booked a room with bathtub, but didn’t get one. We were told there was only one room with bathtub and it was occupied already. Despite the fact we explicitly had booked a room with bathtub.

The window in the room cannot be opened. You can hear sometimes the sound of ventilation system.

The position is strategic. The staff very kind and welcoming. The buffet breakfast amazing, with something for everyone. My room was very small but for a short solo trip is fine.

Everything was good, and even the nearby rail lines were not too noisy at night.

We came back to Scandic 25 because we had such a good experience before, and were not disappointed this time. Breakfast was good, and the room was adequate size with nice clean bathroom. All staff did a good job with local directions as well as concerning the hotel itself. Baggage room was a life saver !
