It is a short walk from the central station and right by the market square and main shopping strip .. drottningsgatan. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is superb. We had a medical problem and the staff helped us out enormously.

Room: Room furniture quality is good; however, some basic toiletries are missing. Total room space is smaller than expected. A/C works average and noisy. Cleaning was good. Some flooding during shower which cannot be avoided due to its design. Modern toilette and overall high hygiene standards 8/10

Location: Perfect 10/10, in the heart of Stockholm, close to major attractions, mass transportation lines, malls, groceries, nice cafes & restaurants, etc. Check-in & out: Easy and smooth, early check-in provided; however, the front desk guy could be more friendly 9/10. Personnel: Overall, very kind and helpful 9/10 Common spaces: 8/10 Wi-Fi: Flawless 10/10 Security: 10/10 Breakfast: We really liked it, better than most European standards, 9/10 Overall: our experience was 8,5/10 and we may consider staying in this hotel again on our future trips.

I'd add a bottle of water available in the room (or a minibar upon payment, also).

Position very central, metro stop at 1 min walk, city center also very near. Hotel very nice and clean, good breakfast available. Wifi available.

Rooms are very compact, we just about managed to lay two medium suitcases flat after rearranging some room furniture, however it was okay for our stay. This is a large hotel and the breakfast area can get very crowded at peak times.

Room was tastefully decorated, beds very comfortable and hot water available when we needed it. There is a kettle in the room but tea and coffee are not resupplied without asking. Good selection of food replenished quickly at breakfast. Good central location for tourist sites.

No USB plug for phone charging. Could not cast or mirror to the TV.

Walking distance from the main shopping belt. Near to many attractions and main train station. Could borrow for free the Scandic bicycle. Breakfast was super.

There is little not to like. One minus point is that there was a short flight of stairs between the lift and the room. Otherwise, all good.

A modern and clean hotel, not far from the station and right on the shopping streets. Decent room size for a single, and a good bathroom with an excellent shower. The hotel kindly provided me with an extra early breakfast because I had to catch a very early train.

There isn't any closed space, closet for outfits. It's a bit hard to store clothes in an open hanger.

Location is very good, easy to access by walk or public transport. Breakfast is fresh and fabulous. Room size is moderate, beds are very comfortable to sleep.

Room was dark and overlooked the breakfast hall so awkward getting dressed (there was frosted glass). Otherwise room was comfortable and had appropriate amenities.

I found it very difficult to find the hotel from the commuter train when I arrived. If you are staying at this hotel, please make sure you have a good map of the area as it is very confusing at first (roads on different levels and the local, commuter and out of town stations all being connected makes things even more confusing). Once I did find the hotel though, it was in an great location so I wouldn't change the location, just make sure you know which exit to use in the station when you arrive!

I enjoyed my stay at Scandic Klara. It was clean, bright and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and you needed your room card to go from floor to floor in the elevator so it felt very secure. The breakfast was buffet style and had so many options that there is something for everyone (even a lot of options for dietary restrictions) and the food for very tasty - great way to start your day of sightseeing. The room had a window (which when I was looking in the area, not all hotels have rooms with windows) so that was nice. My window did face the courtyard, and while I did hear a little sound during the dinner hour, it did not go late into the night and it was not loud (a little bit of clinking sounds) so this was non-issue for me personally. The TV had a number of English channels available to watch. The location (once I found the hotel the first time) was great. Within walking distance to the various public ferry terminals, Stockholm Central stations, the old town, shopping streets and some museums. This was my first stay at a Scandic hotel and I would definitely stay at a hotel in this chain again.

The price of the hotel must be more reasonable.

Was on main floor and view from my room was the breakfast area. Would have liked a room higher up with a view of the city.

Great location. Close to the market which I loved. Close to main shopping! Got a great view of this part of the city.
