Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumThis is nitpicking, but in busiest days it was difficult to find a clean table in the (huge) breakfast room: most tables were unoccupied, but covered in used plates and cups. Setting up an area were people could leave their used tableware would be highly beneficial. Also very nitpicking: I would have appreciated a 'fruit salad' option at breakfast.
The location is very convenient in the modern/commercial part of town, which makes most important parts easily accessible on foot (and by public transport). I also appreciated that at check-in I was asked how often I wished my room to be cleaned.

China1st & foremost, the size of my room & the washroom was very small; I never know that the table is just about 2 metres long. I didn't have enough room to put all my belongings on the desk or on the table. Hopefully I can stay in a big room next time when available. Lighting was a bit dim too but at least the lights in the bathroom was very well lit. It's NOT worth 183USD$ a night to stay here! The toilet itself is not that easy to deal with because the lid BLOCKS THE FLUSH SILVER BUTTONS! What does this mean? It means after you do your performance, you'd need to get up, close the lid, then flush! Not very attractive to do isn't it?Wifi Password you have to ask in order to be connected via wifi. I tried to save some data on my international roaming phone. However, you have to literally ASK FOR THE PASSWORD yourself, don't just allow the girl receptionist gave you the password or connect for you without telling you the password. Otherwise, if you try to connect on another device, it won't work.
1st, thank you for allowing me to at least take some slices of bread without at around 4:00AM! Yeah I had to catch an early morning flight, & since breakfast isn't officially open till 6am, that was nice of the receptionists allowing me to take something on the road! Very nice lobby, room was very easy to access. Just simply put your room card in the light/electricity socket so you will have light in your room.
