Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Staff was extremely helpful and informative, already prior to staying. Breakfast was good, location was good, we had both tvärbana and tunnelbana/train option to get to Solna to the Friends arena where we had a Taylor Swift concert. The hotel is outside the busiest city area so no places open at night, but connections to city are good and the scenery is beautiful. As an extra note, the hotel was playing Taylor songs in the lobby throughout the weekend at a moderate volume level! Great attention to detail!

We had a wonderful experience here and warmly recommend this hotel. We especially appreciated the kindness and warm welcome from one of the staff members - we cannot remember her name but she was from Nepal and was just so sweet and helpful and we wish to express our deep thanks to her! Our rooms were great, clean and very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Great parking available and very close to the Alvik station where you can easily take the underground in to central Stockholm.

NorwayAs we arrived during hot weather, it wasn’t very easy to fall asleep during the night - there’s no AC, and the ventilation didn’t do much change even though we put it to the max of the cold side. The morning sun was shining right into our window/black curtain and the temperature would rise quite a bit first thing in the morning.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and really good sound isolation. Even though the hotel was fully booked, haven’t heard a single sound from our room. Nice Swedish breakfast table, very convenient.

FinlandThere were some renovations going on which entailed loud noises. We learn about it only upon arrival. Though they said the noise started at 9am (which was ok with us), they actually started at 7.30 am on Friday morning which woke us up. We called reception and the noises stopped but the sleep was already interrupted and we couldn’t continue sleeping anymore.
All was good, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was great, good and clean facilities, kind personnel. The location, even though a bit away from the city centre, is well connected.
