Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe cabin walls are thin so if someone is coughing on the other side, it can be heard clearly. And you can’t sit up straight in the bunk beds because they are low but then the ceiling of the cabin is low and they’ve done the best they can with the cabins.
The ship is in a very central location. It only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the Old Town. If you love being on water, this is the place for you.

United KingdomBe aware that in addition to the main ship, there are two barges with accommodation, so you may not be on the more attractive ship. As you would expect with a ship, there are gangways and stairs to negotiate (which we saw as part of the experience, but may be a problem for some). Furnishings were basic rather than luxurious. Bed was very firm, which may suit some (e.g. me) but not others (e.g. my wife). Be prepared for other guests walking past your windows, including the bathroom window, which had frosted glass but no blind.
Super location, waking up each morning to wonderful views through the several large windows across the water. Within relatively easy walking distance of the Gamla Stan. Being on the water added to the experience. Our accommodation came with a small lounge area with sofa, chairs and tables and a separate bedroom. Excellent Thai restaurant on the main ship, with discount for those staying at the hotel.

Germanyyou can hear your room neighbors coughing, so better bring ear plugs. When using the sink it can happen that the neighbors sink makes noises. I woke up several times even in the middle of the night. Missed a hair dryer.

SpainThe room was relatively dark as the small window was very low and close to the water. Also, the beds were quite uncomfortable and gave me a stiff neck.
It's an affordable option to stay close to the center and offers an alternative way of accomodation.

ItalyWe were on boat 2 on the -1 floor and there was just one bathroom (one toilet and one shower) in our floor. Finding that bathroom empty in the mornings was quite hard. On the 1st floor there were many more toilets and showers (separated), luckily we could go there. Also, our floor smelled bad a little bit, it was perfectly tolerable though.

PortugalThe view from my room was not what I expected as I selected "City view", and that translated into almost no view at all. I was placed on a lower deck facing the cement deck (opposite to the city). I also felt very exposed as anyone on the deck would be able to see directly into my room, so I kept my curtains closed the entire time.
- Cleanliness, everything was spotless. The shared bathroom was cleaned often. - A shared bathroom was always available, the number of rooms was adequate - Room was comfortable overall - The main reception boat looked very well cared for - The rooftop was nice - The breakfast was nice - The staff was super nice and available

Great location and friendly staff. This is a 2 star hostel near the metro.good walking distance to old town and many attractions. Good space in room, towels and hair drier provided. I'd use it again and better than what was expected. Breakfast good and cheaper if you book the day before. Nice bar and lounge area

LithuaniaOn a windy day boat bumping was very noisy. Corridor was a bit smelly.
Interesting experience to sleep on the boat and chill watching the river from tables on platform. One of the cheapest. Room to leave stuff after check-out. Old town can be reached very quickly by foot.

United KingdomThe fishermen did not want to talk to me or explain their very unique way of fishing. Also it seems my gag of buying a salmon, placing it in the water and pretending to reel it in was not amusing and actually quite insulting to their skills.
Loved the location, what a great place to stare out from. Seeing the wonderful watery plains of stockholm. Hearing the rickity rocking of the ship. My especial favourite part is seeing the rather bemusing fishermen who dip their rods between the ship and the dock. What a mild hobby!

Czech RepublicOn our previous visit, we stayed in the upper cabins and we liked it more, cuz it did not move as much. But ofc your are at boat, so it will move. The furniture would use some refreshment, but nothing crazy. The only thing we did not like were fishermen right in front of our window
It was our second stay here and we would book this hotel again while coming to Stockholm. If you are up to smaller rooms (or cabins) and you dont mind it, you would find this hotel really nice. It is super close to the centre and for this location, the price is super good. Also there is plus you can tell your friends you stayed at boat.

IcelandIt was all good.
My room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but although the very flat pillow was fine for me, I think some people might have liked an extra pillow. The room was bright and airey and I liked the armchair. Hangers and hooks for clothes were much appreciated as I travelled with summer dresses and blouses.

Thailandthis was my second time here, the room for my second stay was a lot smaller than the one I stayed before, and the bed was not so comfortable as it was very small, but for the price I paid I couldn't complain much! Next time I would pay more for a bit bigger room. And I found this room a bit dusty.. but It was okay for one night.
The location! The hotel staff was very nice they let me leave my luggage in the luggage room for a week then I came back to stay here again.
