Given its location and time of week it was very noisy in the evening filled with music noise not conducive to a good night of sleep but they know since they provide earplugs.

Clean, very near train station and onto main square. The bathroom was small but entirely newly renovated with taste and attention. The breakfast was good and good inventory of food. There is an excellent restaurant downstairs worthwhile trying.

The sound isolation is not the best in this hotel. I could hear people in the nearby room having conversations and since my room window was facing the sports bar, I could hear the music and noise coming from there.

The breakfast was beautiful and one could find both vegetarian and non pescatarian options. The location of the hotel is just a minute away from the main train station and the view was overlooking one of the squares in the city. The hotel has a nice oldtimey atmosphere and it was a pleasant surprise to find a bathtub in the bathroom.

The hotel is in a perfect location, especially when travelling by train. The small park between the central railway station and the hotel distances the building from the business and noise of the streets. The interior design of the lobby and restaurant is moody and accentuates the period features of the building pleasantly. The room itself was nice and tidy, although quite outdated. We did not mind, as we enjoyed the old world charm of it.

I think it was overall overpriced and the breakfast was only average, little choice on coffees (only filtered) and not much selection in the rest.

The building and the location in Kalmar can't be better, looking to a beautiful square close by to the train station, the building is full of charm and heritage. Restaurant is one the best in town if you like meat.

The stairs at the entrance hindered me a little as I had a very large and heavy suitcase. The door is also very heavy and I had a hard time opening it and getting in with my suitcase.

Just across the hall from the room was the restaurant that had Christmas buffet. The sound from the restaurant guests got quite loud and was easily heard from inside the room.

Telephone in room covered in thick layer of dust though the rest of the room was clean. Shampoo not refilled, empty for 2 days.
