Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandRoom was a bit worn out and windows facing the wall of the next building that has construction ongoing. Prices were for 5 star hotel but this reallis is 3 stars.
Breakfast had everything I needed but there are too many tables in too little space and the area is not nice at all. Location is great.

Sweden/ No fridge in the room to put our water etc in. / Aircon kept turning on randomly at 2am 😅. / Construction work at 7am would’ve been nice to know about!
/ The staff were so so lovely, chatty, helpful and kind. / The location is seriously AMAZING, so close to everything and the metro. /comfy beds ! /Breakfast has a lot of choice and was tasty /They went all out for the Eras tour which I thought was so sweet. I’m talking lobby music, shared colour hair spray, glitter, a mirror with a pink boa for pictures etc.

FinlandI did not like that the staff did not almost let my young collegues in the middle of the night - since was not paid in advance - even if was not mentioned that need to be paid out prior the check-out as you would expect.
Liked the breakfast taking special diets into consideration and clean rooms. The location is super practical - next to Arlanda Express and the lobby is fun with games etc.

NorwaySo close to everything we needed. We went to the friends arena and train was three min away. Same For busses to the airport. Also every store and restaurant we wanted was within walking distance. Breakfast was served until 12 - I don’t know if it as to accommodate us concert goers or if it is regular, but that was amazing.

HungaryBreakfest was good, but expect for one morning was very crowded. Bed was alright, though not the most comfortable.
Check-in was smooth, the hotel is centrally located, just a few steps from Arlanda Express. Early and Late check-in was provided for reasonable price. Bathroom was spacious and wifi was working very well.

Vegan breakfast options were exceptional, excellent location next to Stockholm central station, very warm and friendly, great bar and also houses the ice bar.

GreeceI chose the cheapest/smallest room as I needed the room only for an one night sleep. I was expecting a small room (and I am used in small rooms as I usually book them just before traveling) but it was too small even for my standards and for the scope of my staying.
I chose the hotel for its location (near the train station) - it can't get any closer. Breakfast ok, nothing special.
