Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LatviaNot clean, no fresh air at the room. There were just 2 cups, nothing else. There is no kettle. Small blanket. Discusting breakfast, milk bottles were opened, juice was not tge real one, just deluted from a bag. the omelette tasted terrible. Coffe tasted like the water from the pipe.
Great location and stuff was so good. We were happy that hotel staff was so kind and friendly.

HungaryThe room had a bunk bed which was a little scary to climb. But not really a problem.
It was a really good value for the money. A really small room but it had everything needed. It was clean and warm. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really minimal, but we had - again - everything needed. The location was really good, right next to a viewpoint with beautiful view of the city. A coop just right around the corner. Also there was a playground next to us.

GreeceThe inside of the room must have an update some day. The price was good finally (with the gift of breakfast)...if was 10-15% lowest the price then i talk about the best solution to stay enough days (week or more) to Stockholm because the city is expensive.
Breakfast was very good and was gift for my reservation (not included at the first reservation). Coffee was from machine but was very good quality (cafe strong, latte and cappuccino). Very good the fresh bread with melted cheese upside and the cookies ! The staff is really very kind and helpful. I know about not cleaning (extra charge) in my week of stay but was not problem. A little old the building but also was not problem. The staff give me extra towel without any charge, room was quite and with natural light. Bathroom was very big (give me room for person with disabilities without ask it and without have problem but was a gift for me because was better the room). Payment with card in the hotel (not before) and without any problem. Perfect location, easy area without noise, and 1,5 block away from Zinkensdamn station that give the time to go at the T-centralen after 3 stops (4th is the T-centralen). Entry with wifi card in the hotel and in the room, Wifi was very good, without problems.

The location was good - close to the old city. The room was clean. It's a good budget place if you need to spend a night or two in Stockholm but could be inconvenient for a longer period due to the small room size and the lack of windows.

RussiaRude owner who try to do all things: resolving their problems, being a reservation desk stuff and etc It was very cold in room and blankets are helpless at night It looked like there had been cleaned but all things in room are so old and worn-out so cleaning doesn't help I came before check-in and tried to ask to wait in a hall but I faced with rejection and rude answer that before 15:00 it isn't available at all Luggage storage are available for every person in hotel, not just for living ones and it's just a small stall without key and something else, so big luggage isn't being possible to put it in there

IsraelThe "budget" part of the hotel (the bunk bedded shoebox "cells" on the ground floor) - well, it is just barely passable for a very short stay to lay your head down (unless you have issues with claustrophobia) and would better be defined as very but very basic "hostel" conditions other than a budget "hotel" (including such inevitable "hostel" telltales as the previous room tenant's socks left behind drying on the ventilation hose, stains on the bedsheets, the chewing gum stuck to the wall, the bunks you have to make yourself and microscopic - yet private, alright - bathroom). And, obviously, forget about sound insulation... The upper floors' rooms much more meet the definition of a "hotel" but presumably at significantly higher price (the reason I only knew this was because a part of my group got unexpected mid-stay upgrade to the upper part of the hotel due to an acute ventilation problem in the "hostel" ground floor cells, which was, of course, pretty reasonable gesture on the management's part yet not without a hassle). If I may recommend (if doable, of course) to the hotel management, in order to improve the reviews and scores you should split the Booking.com entry into two parts - one for the "hostel" part ground floor bunk bed part and one for the "hotel" part, otherwise the reviews are strongly but expectedly and understandably biased by the "claustrophobic" tenants of the ground floor (like myself)

Sweden- The eggs mentioned above. - The bathroom was flooded with silver fisk. This seems to be a common problem in Sweden. - The room advertised having a microwave. It did not have one.
The breakfast which was much cheaper when ordered the night before at the hotel and was fairly good. Except for the eggs. I think they might have been dehydrated powder eggs. They tasted quite bad.
