Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was average size and the breakfast had a pretty good variety - I think we got spoilt in our Helsinki Scandic so expected more, though this was perfectly good. The staff were lovely and friendly. The location couldn't have been better really - right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a hop on/hop off bus stop close by. It was ideal for our purposes.

IrelandThe rooms are small, so if you have a lot of luggage it may feel tight. Breakfast had some rules that everyone had to arrive at the same time which was frustrating as we were a large group.
The hotel was comfortable and clean. Large bathrooms. Good breakfast and central location. A pleasant stay.

United KingdomAir-conditioning/heating could be easier to control but we managed. Nothing else, would stay again based on rates (price likely inflated for Taylor swift but not unaffordable especially for Stockholm, felt totally worth it for the money)
Comfortable rooms with bright sunshiney view of the city, we had a standard double room which was spacious enough for 2 bags on the floor. Powerful & hot rain shower. Aircon was difficult/unclear to control so rooms were warm overnight but not a huge issue. Friendly staff everywhere and felt easy to find staff if you needed help. Huge and varied breakfast buffet although have to book a time in advance, can eat inside or on the terrace, loved this. Great location, moments from main shopping street & 10 mins walk to central station. Regularly played Taylor swift all weekend which was great!!

The hotel is really well located, at a walkable distance from several touristic attractions as well as different public transportation (central train station, metro and tram). The room was clean and well equipped. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very complete, with a lot of different options to choose from.

Location is great, especially if you take the Arlanda express from the airport. Staff is friendly. All facilities you expect from a large hotel are there
