Charming historical building, central location, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location near Central station and many amenities. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and polite and made our stay even more enjoyable with their recommendations and suggestions. Our room was lovely and quiet and the breakfast was superb, offering lots of choice, whilst retaining a high quality. A lovely gesture to serve cake and coffee each afternoon, a delight to come back to.

Great location just 5 mins walk from the main bus & train station. Rooms are a good size with en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold dishes with fresh bread etc. Stayed my times on my way through Gothenburg.

Outside of the hotel happened to be a temporary construction site on the street from which sounds could be heard in the room, but I believe that the construction site has already been completed.

Good quality hotel in the beautiful and causy building in the center of the Gothenburg. i prefer this kind of than average chain hotels. Have stayed several times and will do in the future as well if around.

Small bathroom.

Location is near to the Central Station which is excellent. Breakfast is good especially the waffles. Love the interior design of the hotel. Although it is the oldest hotel in Gothenburg, it’s well maintained.

Although it says that there was parking included in the price that was not true and we had to pay 280 Sec for 24 hours in a parking space near the hotel.

Only one complaint. Please, please put in a minifridge. I had to have staff store my medicine in their fridge then had to ask for it. Also, no where to cool our drinks for put leftovers. It’s just something that would have made our stay perfect.

Amazingly lovely small hotel. Probably the nicest staff ever! Great breakfast, nice room, lovely lobby and decorations. Room was comfortable; bed nice with a great shower. The ultimate old-time fashionable hotel. Yet, right outside the door is downtown, hustling businesses and shops. Parking is just a few feet away and not horrible at about $25 a day. I just can’t tell you how kind and accommodating the front office staff is. Just a pleasure.

The location of the hotel is perfect and within walking distance of so much. The staff were always super helpful and willing to have a chat with me and offer suggestions of places worth visiting. My room was so lovely and clean with a super comfy bed so I slept really well and also loved how quiet it was. One of my favourite parts of my stay was being able to sit in the hotel's lovely lounge with a cup of tea and some cake in the afternoon and evening after exploring the city during the day. Of course I should also mention how delicious the breakfast was- I will be thinking about those waffles for a long time!

The room was a little small for two people, and the breakfast selection was adequate, but not extensive or overly delicious. Very limited on hot foods.

The hotel is located close to the central train station so easy to get to and from Gothenburg. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful to our needs. The room was clean and well presented though a bit cramped for the two of us with our suitcases though fine for the single night stay. It has a lot of charm and quirkiness to it from the decor to the fake birds and butterflies scattered around the floors.
