Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was great as there was a good selection of healthy options plus sweet treats. You could order from a menu as well as help yourself at the buffet. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were always ready to help with a smile.

We loved staying at hotel Rival as all the staff were polite, we had coffee biscuits fruit near our bedroom which came in handy . There were restaurants and bars in the hotel and so much do nearby too. We would definitely stay again I couldn’t fault anything

Australiathey need to change their carpet. There is so much coffee and other crap spilled on their carpet it makes your feel like you are walking in to a cheap dodgy hotel when you get out of the lift. This definitely drags down the feel of what is otherwise a really top hotel.
This was the great hotel in a central location in Stockholm. We could walk to all major attractions. Room was quirky and beds super comfortable. Breakfast was incredible. Best we had from everywhere we went on our trip.

We booked the wheelchair-accessible room, which was quite spacious, very clean and we even had a small balcony. The bathroom was large with a roll-in-shower and an accessible vanity. The door of the room had an automated door opener, which makes it a lot easier to use. The breakfast was very delicious, we loved the opportunity to have a buffet and on top of that some additional meals that are prepared on request. The staff in the hotel (e.g. reception, breakfast) was always extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood with a park directly in front, a metro station just a few minutes walk away, and some convenient stores very close nearby.
