Lack of cooling. My room was on the sunny side of the house and regardless of closed curtains room temperature was quite high.

Sometimes I woke up when someone entered the hotel in midnight because my room was near the entrance of the hotel.

Warmly kind hosts. One of them called a taxi for me when I ordered. Good breakfast. Near the center of Visby. Clean room. High sense of exterior and interior.

Nothing. I was worried about not having a kettle or a bar fridge in my room but as I’ve said above —the breakfast room continues to have tea and coffee available all day, and there’s a guest fridge in the courtyard if you need it.

Probably the best value in town. Clean, courteous and relaxing environment. I was at first apprehensive to have my room adjacent to the breakfast room, but then I loved it —coffee and biscuits available whenever. Also a bar fridge and microwave in the courtyard for guests to use. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept very well for the four nights I stayed. Just a lovely vibe about the place, and breakfast was delicious with its freshly baked bread, boiled eggs, yoghurt and fruit.

The hotel is very nice, clean and homey. The hotel owner as well is very kind and accommodating. Their warm hospitality makes me feel like home. They provide a very good breakfast and also they will help out to recommend the best place to go around Visby or in Gotland. The hotel location is also very near to the ferry terminal so it's an easy walk like 10mins from there. it's a perfect place for a solo traveler like me. I have made the right decision to choose Hotell Stenugnen in spending my birthday so memorable. Highly recommendable.❤️

A great place to stay in Visby - lovely location and very very very good breakfast. I do not expect it to be very good but it's superb. The room is spacious and so comfy. I would love to stay back once again. The owner is very kind and really helpful to all tourists.

For rooms on the ground floor facing the street, there is risk of noise from passersby and light traffic. There was also a music event directly across the street on the Saturday evening we stayed there, but they respected the 22.45 noise curfew.

This wonderful hotel is very cozy and discreet. Located at the center of Visby and within walking distance to everything. The decor is welcoming and very comfortable with a very nice breakfast offered and extremely efficient personnel.

Bathrooms and the roof lamps. Both of our keys stopped suddenly working and it took too long to get in the room.

Eveything else was nice and decent, but the bathrooms require renovation.

Steep narrow stairs to get up to my room. Normally I wouldn’t care…but my knee is injured and it was painful coming down.

Location and good healthy breakfast with a lot of choices. It was only missing fish.

When I arrived there was no answer to the doorbell and no code given for the keypad. The phone line didn’t work as it went automatically to a busy tone. I didn’t receive any answers to my messages either. In the end I had to book an entirely different hotel last minute.
