Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaThe breakfast is ok-ish but nothing fabulious as I have read in some of the comments. The room was ok sizewize but rather old, it would be nice to at least refresh the paint.
The location is good, easy to get anywhere in the city. The staff was super friendly and available to answer any questions. We have been checked in at 10 am in the morning instead of 3 pm and for that we are extremely greatful.

ItalyThere were no wardrobes or a refrigerator in the room, and the shower was in the bathtub. It was acceptable, but considering this is a 4-star hotel, it would have been better to have a shower cubicle, a wardrobe, and a refrigerator.
I liked the cleanliness and quietness of the room, the kindness of the staff, and the hotel's location, which is close to the subway and the supermarket.

United KingdomThe room was a bit "tired" looking - the windows are shabby. I think the whole room could have done with some TLC. The bathroom was nice, although the shower leaked everywhere. Outside in the hallway also needs to be redecorated that area was not welcoming. The lobby area was quite tasteful and quirky. 3* at the most! It's definitely not a 4* hotel.
The location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of variety and good coffee.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is ideally placed 100m from the underground, station 2 stops away from the city center. the hotel was clean and trendy and the staff very helpful. The breakfast room was incredibly bright with a very good breakfast selection. the room was on the small side but absolutely ok. Same thing said about the bathroom (small sink and little shelf to leave your things but very clean and functional). I would book it again!

United KingdomOur room was a superior double but it had no wardrobe (just a cupboard and then a coatstand with a few hangers on it). The bathroom floor flooded if you took a shower as there was no real screen around the bath. There was also nowhere to put your things in the bathroom and no hook on the back of the door for your clothes. The only toiletries provided were soap. I left my suitcase with the front desk the day I checked out but when I went to retrieve it they couldn't find it for about 10 minutes. Luckily I wasn't in a rush but it was a bit worrying that they didn't have a better grip on customer's belongings.
Jazz in the Earth bar on Thursday and Saturday was a really unexpected bonus. Very special! Free coffee in the lounge was also appreciated. It's an easy 10 minute walk to Odenplan station where you can get on a commuter train back to Arlanda airport (only 9 stops) which saves the hassle of going back to Stockholm Central to get the expensive express train and is actually quicker.

BelgiumThe bathroom looked nice, but small. Little bathtub, little washbowl. But once we used either the toilet, washbowl or bath, their was a horrible smell of urine. After we checked under the bath, we saw it wasn't well assembled, their really was a whole around the drain. We explained to the staff and we had the impression they knew about the problem. It was 'less bad' after they came and check, but the smell always was there. Too bad...
Nice and comfortable room, tidy and spacy. Breakfast was very good. Thee and coffee free in the lobby. Staff was very friendly.

United KingdomI really liked it overall as I stayed for a short time but for longer stays, the deep red walls may not be ideal.
It was difficult to find bookings in Stockholm that time due to a large event. I was lucky to find this one. Unusual room with antique furniture including a four poster bed ! Loved the breakfast area which was like a conservatory terrace area. Good breakfast also including some fab turmeric ginger shots!
