Nice ambience and very nice staff, the hotel is very central, very good pups around. so all in all our recommendation for this hotel is for sure. give a try.

The water leaking out of shower door. No Christmas Tree in entrance.

Location was great as there the subway was so close. The train/tram connections work well. Breakfast was good but wasn’t topped up often enough. If you came to breakfast later then not much choice including obvious choices such as orange juice, bread or eggs

The Jazz nights (every Thursday) are a great attraction for locals but very intrusive for those guests who aren't into Jazz. Also feels like a lot of people wandering around the hotel on these nights. Food choices (for evening meals) is very limited. Given the location surely it would be easy to arrange delivery from one of the local restaurant's.

Excellent breakfast with a good range of Swedish and international choices...Coffee is first class. Location is near to T-Bana stop and lots of resturant choices right outside the door. Also not to far to walk into the city.

Breakfast was very basic with limited variety.

Very cosy hotel, room was spotless and bed very comfortable. Excellent location right beside metro. 24/7 free coffee in the lounge was great, took a cup with us every morning!

My bathroom was pretty small and in the room, I could feel the wind from the window.

Breakfast was very nice. Good choice. Only room for improvement was the coffee. The room was spacious. However, the bathroom was a bit too small. Location was perfect to me.

My towels where not replaced everyday. It was not clear to me if I needed to put the towel in the floor to get it replaced. But it's not a big issue, I enjoy my stay in Hellsten.

I booked the single room and it's spacious for 1 person, the room is clean and bed is comfy. The hotel has free sauna. Breakfast is good and I like the free coffee 24/7. All staff are friendly and helpful. I'm travelling solo and I feel safe stating in Hellsten.

Maybe the fornitures need a bit of renovation. The bathroom is very tiny, there's anything inside but actually you could brush your teeth while you sat on the water. A overweight person could have problems

Room was lovely and big (our friends was smaller) but our room was fine 2 chairs in the room so didn’t need to sit on the bed all of the time, the bathroom was also a nice size. It was a little dark in the room the time of year may not have also helped. Could have done with a plug next to the bed but worked out ok. Breakfast was a lovely variety the bread and rolls felt fresh and not stale. Tea coffee and juices available with a wide continental cereal/oatmeal and bacon eggs and meatballs! There is 24/7 tea and coffee available in the reception. There is no facility in the room. (Fussy brits!) They even have ceramic mugs for the drinks as well as takeaway cups. It was a nice touch! The staff were faultless nothing to complain very helpful and approachable! It was getting a little cold so was nice to know the room was a nice place to warm up! For what we were using it for there was nothing to complain about. 👍🏻

We booked a small room and got a small room. That‘s ok… at least for a few Nights. Still, it was more a single room than a double (no space for 2 suitcases) and also the bed was a bit small for two people.

relatively newly renovated it seems and yet simple things like shelves practically falling off the wall made it seem like it was cheaply done. also very weird that basically spray from the shower was just supposed to run down the walls onto the floor (no sealant around the tub).

the reception staff were really friendly, the breakfast selection and quality was excellent. decor was a bit strange, not sure what the theme was, but overall a tidy kind of cool vibe. easy access to the underground (tunnelbana) but also walkable to the centre of town and very close to the Drottninggatan, a long pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and bars.

Needs a proper wardrobe. We had to hang our clothes from the bed frame, but that was ok as we had plenty of hangers.

Sizeable double room with 4-poster bed, overlooking the street (quiet). Nice breakfast room with ample selection of hot or cold, savoury or sweet, healthy or indulgent choices. Good bath/shower room. Room well maintained, cleaned and tidied daily, with towels replaced when requested. Friendly and helpful staff, always available. Excellent bar, with has occasional jazz bands. Hotel is a few minutes from the T-Bahn - you can easily be in the old town in 15 minutes.

Lack of a mini fridge in the room to keep small groceries cold.

Nice central location, easy to walk 10-15 min from the train station to the Hotel and see the city upon arrival. Good restaurants near by as well. Hotel bar participated in Stockholm Jazz Festival so there was live jazz downstairs every nigh of my stay for free which was a huge plus! Coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times so helpful to save on excess expenses during the day and daily breakfast included was also helpful in this regard since Stockholm food prices aren't cheap in general (hard to eat anywhere good for less than 400K minimum and often times more). Room space was ample and bed was comfortable. Ambiance of room was lovely with nice street views out side and sun shine.
