Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwedenThe table and nightstand in my room were quite worn. Could hear people through the door quite easily.
Bed was great, bathroom nice. Huge kitchen with many cooking opportunities. Private rooms.

United KingdomI didn't like the bed which had two mattresses for unknown reason. The room was very small. I didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open overnight as the room was on the lower ground floor
I liked the kitchen and the shower rooms. The hotel is close to the metro station so it was easy to commute.

AustraliaWell the tv didn’t work from the start. Wasn’t a big issue cuz I m not overly fond of watching. But anyone who is interested should check it out first. Kitchen is bit overcrowded in peaks.
Cozy and 25 mins away from the T-Centralen. 400 m to the metro station.

United StatesStaff was hard to reach, but eventually room was cleaned and we enjoyed our quiet room. A bit far from the center of Stockholm but easy enough to reach by subway.
Communal kitchen for preparing your own meals. TV reception spotty, but we had a lovely room with several windows and good reception (my brother's next door had neither). Quiet, residential area. Two good grocers within 2 blocks.

FinlandFor this price I don't expect a lot, I basically only expect some clean sheets and a dark and quiet room. The accommodation only met two of those requirements as it's everything except quiet. They know this and put earplugs in the room beforehand, I've never been woken up this many times in the night by slamming doors and people walking past etc. during the night I could hear the person in the room next to me sleep. At 5 in the morning I was woken up by someone's phone alarm a few rooms away. It's crazy loud I barely slept.
The location is great, next to the green line tbana. The place is clean enough for what you pay and the price is low for Stockholm.

FranceIn our part of the hotel there was only one big shower room and one half-bathroom which could become a problem during the busy months.
Conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the metro station, which leads directly to the city center. The hotel is quite modern and has a big shared kitchen. The temperature in the rooms was perfect (we visited in Dec). We could leave our luggage after the checkout in a locker.

AustriaI actually booked a room without a window, so I shouldn't complain about it being weird to not have a window in my room :D
Very convenient in spite of its distance from city center - it's a short walk from the metro station, so easy enough to get there and back. That makes the value-for-money really good here: its' safe, clean, and convenient.

HungaryThe common areas are not that clean, the kitchen needs a big deep clean. My room was just by the entrance so it was a bit noisy - guest were arrive late night so that could be a problem for someone who does not sleep well. Bring your earplugs! :)
The hotel is in a very safe and nice neighborhood, takes one metro line to get to the city center. Shops are nearby. The room was nice and very warm, the self check in with the code is very simple and easy. I use earplugs so i slept very well! The bed is comfy, the linen and the towels were nice and clean.

SwedenI knew that the bathroom is shared, but I did not know that there will be only two bathrooms (equipped with one toilet vase, one sink and one shower each) for the entire hotel of 20+ rooms (rough estimate). Or at least we only found two bathrooms as there were no signs or something similar to indicate any extra bathrooms. While this is not itself a deal breaker for many, it should be advertised as such because some people may not feel very comfortable in these conditions. Also, I have not seen anyone from the staff actually cleaning the bathroom during my stay and the bathroom naturally gets dirty as it is used by multiple persons.
The room itself was nice, there is also a kitchen area if you want to prepare food and there is also fridge space allocated for every room. The area is really nice and quiet. It is linked directly by metro line to the city centre which only takes 18 minutes, which is more than reasonable. There are also some restaurants in the area and several grocery stores available. I particularly enjoyed the bed, the mattress is really qualitative and it is one single queen size bed for two people, as opposed to the nordic practice of merging two one person beds to make up a bed for couples. The room was really warm and cozy.

RussiaIt’s quite far from the city centre. Metro trains on that line were often cancelled during my stay and it took much longer time to get to the place than if it would had been located closer to the city.
Very nice cozy rooms. Very clean property. There is also a kitchen, where you can cook your meal and store your food (in the fridge). 2 minute walk till the nearest metro station.

AustraliaMy only suggestion as I stayed for a week is to offer fresh towels after 3 days. Complimentary milk should also be provided to guests.
This Stockholm stay offered very good value for travel dollars. It's well situated on the metro train line, close to Central Station, less than 30 mins and easy to locate.

MaltaThe only discomfort for me was really thin walls, so I could hear all the noises going on in the salon by my room's door. One night an Italian couple decided to have a party on the sofa just in front of my room's door and it was too loud and unpleasant in the middle of the night. In case there is a sofa in the salon, a better noise insulation of the rooms should be done since there would be guests who want to use the sofa and others who want to rest in their rooms. Lack of forks and spoons in the kitchen (especially in the morning), but I got a set of single-use fork and knife in the room, which was a nice touch.
Hotel is really nice, good location close to metro station, nice calm area with shops nearby. The room was clean with a very comfy bed. No window, but that was expected. It had some kind of ventilation, so it was not stuffy in there. There was a big TV, small tables and one chair. I only used the room for sleeping, so was enough for me. Bathrooms were shared with other people, but always clean. There were 3 shower + toilet bathrooms and one just shower. They are always kept open with lights on, so it is easy to understand which one is free. The kitchen was big with 2 full stoves, microwave, kettle and all the necessary amenities available. Each room has a shelf in the fridge assigned, so no mix up of your food and less chance for the food to be taken by others. No direct communication with the staff - on check-in day I got SMS with door code and room number. When I came the room was clean and ready with the key inside. For the 3 nights I stayed, I saw a receptionist only once. A very efficient self-management process :)

HungaryVery scarcely furnished room - a simple wardrobe to hang clothes would not be such a big investment, it's not something that would need constant replacement either -- such as the kitchen items, which were also scarce, but at least there they have an understandable concern that some guests would take some spoons home.
Bed was comfy, no noise coming from outside.

PolandThe staff were nice but actually we've only met one person once during our stay. We wanted to leave our bags in after checking out and tried to call the reception, but no one was at the desk and no one picked a phone I kept calling for like 40 minutes straight so in the end we had to use luggage storage in the city centre.
It was clean and the location was good even though you had to travel for like 20 minutes to get to the city centre.
