Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NorwayIt was challenging to get in, as I had to pay twice for the accommodation in order to receive the codes. I hope there is a review of payments, so that this duplicate payment is refunded. Other than this, the apartment building and area were great.
The apartment was wonderful for a work trip to Göteborg. The location was within walking distance to restaurants and the office.

PolandThe room that I booked was not the same I received (not a problem, but still...). Kitchen sink was not working, TV was not working. There is a lack of few kitchen stuff (like bowl or pot) to use it fully. There was only one roll of toilet paper for 3 days. Only one chair, so difficult to eat together.
Location is amazing. Perfect area with places to eat, to drink and in walking distance to sightseeing must sees. Apartment was clean. Wardrobe was enormous.

United KingdomThe floor was a wee bit dusty there was hair and what not, however the hoover provided made a really loud noise that sounded as if it could be broken, so I just used tissue to clean the dust on the floors.
The facilities and location are absolutely fantastic. Eateries, museums, and botanical gardens are all within 20 mins walk of the accomodation. This accommodation would be my first choice when staying in Gothenburg. 🤗

United KingdomWe had an issue with a power cut which didn't affect our apartment but did affect the main door which had an electronic key code. We had to be let back in by another resident who had a special security key. One or two things in the property need fixing/cleaning. (front door handle had a tendency to come off, some light bulbs need replacing and grill pan was dirty) No bedside table on one side of the bed.
Location set on the edge of Haga was very good with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Lots of trams a short walk away. Very quiet and comfortable. Good shower. Balcony.

United KingdomI had to hold the kettle until the water had boiled. We had to remove a nail from the door frame as it was sticking out. There was a loose screw in the bottom of the bathroom door frame.
The location, ease of accessing the property. It was nice to have a fridge and an option of a washing machine if needed. A microwave would have been useful too. I would have preferred to check out a little later if there was an option to do so.

SwitzerlandThe apartment was dirty when we arrived. Dusty and a lot of hair from previous guests. We had to clean at arrival. This was unpleasant. Communication with hosts was difficult. The code for entry door stopped working but we could not reach them. This was unpleasant and unprofessional.
Small apartment in a great location. Very accessible by foot and public transportation is at 1min. We enjoyed our stay.

ItalyEverything in the house gave me the feeling that the owner/s wanted to save as much money as possible and it came off as stingy. There were just two rolls of toilet paper, one dishwasher tablet per day, a tiny bottle of shampoo (no shower gel), and other stuff like that. But the craziest part was that the apartment had a washing machine but no detergent. They expect guests to buy that extra only to throw it away as soon as they leave. Why don't they provide detergent for guests? The costs for this would be minuscule for the owner and make a huge difference for the guests. Another thing that bothered me was that they had only one very small pillow per guest. I don't understand why they didn't just give us regular-sized pillows. The house manager also took very long to answer my messages. Finally, in our apartment, there was a big cardboard with some furniture inside which was very annoying because it prevented us from fully opening the balcony window.

SwedenBedlinen was not changed since previous guest! Dirt and lots of hair on sheets, mattress, covers. Discovered it late at night when I went to bed- no time to get help and from others feedback- host is not available anyways. I slept on top of the bed to minimise contact. Room was not cleaned- dirt, hair and dust on the floor, on the tables and counter. A lot of hairs in the shower. Most of the lights were not working, that way you do not notice the dirt/mess at first.. No bedside table lamp. Extremly hot, no ventilation. Kitchen fan did not work. No kitchen towels.
