Noise transfer from upstairs. Someone was scraping their chair, which we could hear, until 3am.

Hostel type accommodation with a large room, food, and drinks available downstairs. Great location which was near station and many other bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly.

Really nice vibe! Really good that they had extra wash rooms on the first floor. Great breakfast too! I’ve stayed in quite a few hostels around Europe and this one is definitely at the top of my list! The luggage lockers are a great and affordable plus. And the location was good too!

The slow internet was frustrating for work. The elevator's sluggish pace was a major inconvenience, often forcing a six-floor climb by stairs. Front desk staff varied in helpfulness and friendliness, which impacted the overall service quality.

Very good stay! The location is very good since it's near the Arlanda Express terminal. The beds were comfortable. The shower was excellent. Having a bar downstairs was a nice bonus for unwinding after a long day. Overall, a solid choice for accommodations.

It wasn’t the most social hostel and the en-suites were in the middle of the room which was a bit awkward at times.

My only criticism is that there are two lifts and going up and down can take ages, not least because they often get called to each floor in between only to find no one there. A small grumble though, presumably not something they can do much about, and obviously less of a problem if you're on one of the lower floors (we were on the eighth, the top floor!).

We were in Stockholm for three days and, as hostels go, I knew that the Generator is always worth a look. We stayed in a private double at the very top of the property. The room was bigger than I expected and clean enough. No view out the window and the bathroom was like one of those portable ones installed almost standalone in the room. It was adequate though, if a little small. My fave part of this hostel is being able to chill downstairs in the large reception/restaurant/bar area. A pool table too! And you can buy dinner here at a reduced price if restauranting in Stockholm is beyond your budget. Staff helpful and friendly. And though hostels like these are often used more by younger people, this had a mix of ages. We arrived at 7am and were allowed to put our bags in the locker room and chill until our room was available, which was earlier than expected. Staff also sold us an umbrella as the weather was horrendous. Within 30-min walk from Old Town yet close to train station. There are loads of scooters outside the hostel too for rent, so getting to the city quicker is no problem. Would stay again

I would say that although our room was clean, it was quite smelly before we even went in. It was difficult to air the room using the windows. There was also no lock on our bathroom door.

breakfasts are very nice and authentic, staff are friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, near Cityterminalen and Gamla Stan. Beds also very comfortable.

I saw how the cleaning staff cleaned. She left only the sheets. She changed the covers and left the room. The trash in the room was not taken out. The shower was not cleaned. Everyone in the room has their own suitcase closet, but the inside of these closets is full of hair, dust and paper. The edges of the beds are dusty. The floors are dusty. There were tissues and papers under the bed. Since quiet hours are not specified, those staying in the room can make noise or leave the light on in the morning. I asked the reception about the room layout. They did not answer. I would like to state that the staff is surly. The windows wouldn't open! You need a lock to lock the suitcase. This wasn't specified. Instead of a manual lock, they should have made a cabinet with a combination lock.

Location, sheets, pillowcases are clean. It was nice to have a separate large toilet for women on the floor.

Hairdryer in the bathroom did not work, we asked for a substitute and got the answer that none of the hairdryers povided in the bathrooms are working (so the hostel was apparently aware of that already) - unfortunatly they did not have any spare ones left. Also you have to pay in order to leave your luggage after you check out, first hostel I stayed where they charge you for that.

We put out side the door for two days straight the sign to clean the room and change the towels but they never did it.

The position; the room was big and very spacious. The breakfast, that needs to be prepaid, was very good and different chooses between salt and sweet.

The only thing I would say is the bathroom was slightly cramped, the water was scolding hot and the window rattled with wind at night. The lifts and assisted doors were also sometimes temperamental.
