Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkI sent a message to the hotel asking a question on booking.com, but it was never answered. The AC was very cold at night in the room right above the bed, and there was no switch to turn it off. The light in the room is not good. Luckily, it was sunny so we spent most time outside. In the lobby you can get free coffee which is very nice. But if you use milk in your coffee, then the milk is cold, so it made the coffee cold.
I liked that check- out was later on a Sunday, and the possibility of checking out later if the room was available. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby. The hotel is very nice and clean, and the staff very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, if you want to be close to Malmö Central Station and very close to most attractions.

SwedenThe already made food given by the hotel for the guests next to the reception was not that great. The hotel room did not have any mugs or a kettle, for the guests to at least have tea and relax.
The hotel is located near the Old Town and the central station. The main hall of the hotel had games and activities that can be fun for the entire family. The breakfast was really good as well.

PolandAwful shower controls, really difficult to use with soapy hands. The beds were too soft to our liking and the bedside lamps were impossible to adjust to usable position. Breakfast could use more plant-based savoury options.
Excellent location, 2 minutes away from Malmo Central station. Friendly staff helped us with check-in, there is also option to do it yourself. Open buffet breakfast was great way to slowly start off our day without having to look for caffeterias. Hotel offers bike rentals, would happily use it if the weather allowed it.

BelgiumHad to change room. In the type of room that I've booked, there was a permanent ventilation blowing some cold air and there's no control panel to turn it off. I've had to pay for an upgrade and change to a superior room with air con and control panel to set a correct temperature.
Good breakfast. Clean quiet room. The lounge area downstairs is nice and roomy. We can sit at the table and bring our own food from outside or buy some from the hotel's deli corner (although not the best food I've had). We can make tea or coffee or having a glass of water nicely flavoured with mint and lemon for free. And there's even a fridge to store our food in it. We can ask at the reception to have a label with our name on it so other people won't steal our food. The car park is just next to the hotel. Close from concert venue next door and from town centre.
