The value for money was nice, but I feel like all hotels in Uppsala have a tad higher price, so this isn't only for you.

We got a room upgrade and it was great, the room space and facilities were top notch. Also the breakfast was very nice with a lot of options for fruits, everything was fresh.

Not much. I just did not understand why they close lounge sitting area in front of breakfast room outside of breakfast and lunch time. It would be nice to use there during the day too.

For some unexplainable reason the hotel has removed the telephones in the guest rooms!!!!! This meant that when I wanted to ring the reception (for a taxi or other info) I had to use my own, UK, mobile to ring the same building in Uppsala as I was in!!!!!!!!! Also, there were only fruit tea bags, no proper tea (!!!), and there was no walk in shower but one had to climb in to the bath to shower. The TV was programmed so programme information was insufficient.

Swedish hotel breakfasts are internationally know for their excellence and this was the case here too. Staff (Patric in reception and Ronja in the restaurant made me feel more positive (see below). They were both extremely friendly and helpful. My room was quiet, which was appreciated.

The cleaning staff did not clean our on the day after our arrival (we put the designated door handle thingy before leaving our room at 10 am, we returned after 5 pm). The room was very warm and, due to safety reasons, the many windows would open only just enough to let in a little bit of air. AC did not work when we tried to switch it on. To be fair, we were on the 5th floor and we did not expect to fin 23-25 degree sin May...

Excellent location and breakfast options, although there was very no real change to the buffet food on offer while we were there, i.e. just different fruit or a couple of new mini-pastries.

The rooms didn’t have any drawers to put our clothes. Therefore we had to keep the majority of our clothes in our suitcases. We were able to hang our coats on the few hangers provided.

The daily breakfast buffet catered for a wide range of dietary choices. The staff were very friendly especially Gabriel and Marie during breakfast. During our stay we had a problem with one of our rooms which was resolved very quickly by the hotel staff.

The breakfast was incredible, there was so much choice! The beds were nice and we had a room with beautiful view and a bath. I absolutely loved the stay. Staff was friendly and everything was clean.

Just one thing: Though checking in with kids, reception staff missed to inform us that there was a big playground area in the conference room during the summer. We discovered that area in the morning we were leaving.

As always, fantastic breakfast at Clarion hotels. It really had everything you need. Very comfortable beds, also the extra bed was big and soft – a real plus. Parking garage in the basement was very practical. Walking distance to good restaurants and city center.
