Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkThe room had a strange smell - i have stayed there before and did not have that problem. also the toilet was very close to the wall in front of your legs, which made it difficult to sit down. no hair dryer.
a lot of value for money:-) rooms clean and beds are comfortable. it is simple but location and quality of the room very good. nice television with netflix etc. good kitchen facilities.

I was not able to check in to the property when l arrived at midnight despite numerous emails and calls in advance to the property, if it wasn’t for my taxi driver saving me and finding me alternative accommodation I’d have been homeless and alone in a city and country I had never been to before. I am so disgusted with this property, I didn’t even want to check in the next day when the hotel opened because I was so upset so I sought alternative accommodation for my time there, I would like a refund but probably won’t get one, so disgusted with this property

Sloveniahello, we had a reservation for the whole week from 1/23/2023 to 1/27/2023. We left the room immediately on the second day because it was a very, very cold room, otherwise the thermometer inside the room showed 18 degrees. The radiator had a maximum opening number of 3!, which was a warm radiator and a very small radiator for such a room. We called the owner to tell him that we decided not to stay at the hotel, he replied that we are not in Spain and Turkey, that we are in Sweden and that it is cold here. Very unprofessional on the part of the owner or the worker, we don't know because he didn't move either.

SwedenEverything was extremely dirty! Bathroom walls, floor. Water stays on the bathroom floor as there is a stupid barrier around the drainage. The floor of the room wasn't mopped for maybe over a month. The cups, plates, the table, everything were dirty. The cups had leftovers from the previous something. It looked like previous guests ate food with them and the hotel staff didn't clean them at all. I will attach my husband feet's photo which I took after a few min that he walked in the room. You will see how dirty the room floor was. And also they don't provide anything for the bathroom. No shampoo, no soap.
Only the price was ok. 715 SEK per night.

SwedenThe reception is supposed to be manned 8-17 or something but we never saw a soul at the reception during these times. Communication was poor, some of our messages were ignored and one staff member was rude. It was difficult to gain access and get our key upon arrival and nobody answered the phone. We finally managed to gain access by randomly pressing buttons on the buzzer and then an angry voice exclaimed we were later than our “estimated” arrival time. I mean we were only 20 or 30 minutes later than expected as there was so much traffic! I never experienced this before! We were still there before the reception was supposed to close, but of course nobody was ever there… The other problem was the heat. It was close to 30 degrees in the apartment and we couldn’t cool it down a single degree because there are no windows and no AC. It was almost totally unbearable.
Facilities are fine, beds are comfortable, place was generally clean.
