Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalShower box is separated from the rest of the bathroom with a tiny glass wall that only covers one side. Directly in front of the shower is a shelf where I put my overnight bag. The small glass wall doesn’t stop water from flowing all over the bathroom. My overnight bag got soaking wet, as the rest of the bathroom. What’s the point of asking clients to reuse towels when you need all of them to dry up the bathroom after having a shower? The towels also get soaking wet and needed to dry up especially the floor

I asked two different receptionists for the shortest way to the airport bus and one (blond lady with russian accent) without any smile said "take a taxi" (sorry I didn't want to take a taxi, it is expensive, I am fluent in Swedish and lived in Stockholm for 2 years, I can get around if people help me). Five hours lated I asked a man receptionist if there was a bus to T-Centralen and he said he didn't know. So I had to ask him twice please could you look on internet, which he did, than pointed some direction outside hotel with no smile etc., We went sort of that direction to realise the main road was completely closed for some festival. We took underground which both receptionist said is super easy. Well not if you have 2 suitcases and child. But we managed. I stayed in Birger Jarl last September and the staff was so helpful.
Breakfast was very good and the food in the restaurant was excellent and excellent value for money.

Amazing staff. After the Stockholm Marathon we asked if we could refresh before going to the airport. They provided us towels and soap, to fresh up in the toilet for disabled. Very kind, because we already checked out. Breakfast was also top class.

United KingdomRoom was small but adequate. Our bathroom was very small and basically flooded each time we had a shower which wasn’t ideal. The room also needed a mirror near a plug socket which sounds picky, but it was difficult to get ready in the mornings with only the one plug socket in the bathroom. This could be easily rectified with a more accessible mirror. A minor point but Chromecast didn’t work for us.
Good value hotel in a great location perfect for exploring Stockholm with plenty of transport links nearby. Staff were lovely and really helpful and breakfast was really good with plenty of gluten free options. It was nice and quiet too.

Very good location, wonderful neighborhood. Breakfast was very good. Beds were nice size, and the room in general was nice for two people.
