Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

FinlandIf something must be mention in this part maybe the surroundings were not the best but that's something you don't think about that much when you spend time at the property.
We liked the easiness and the really good price/quality balance. The villa is comfortable for a big family and you got everything you need. The hosts were great and we ordered two really teasty dinners from them. It tasted amazing and were also good value for money. Highly recommended.

United KingdomThe staff are friendly and helpful. They go the "extra mile" to ensure guests are happy and comfortable. The room was cleaned to an exceptional standard (my wife is fussy and even she approved!). Breakfast served on our terrace each morning (10 GBP extra per person per day) and there are some good restaurants nearby (Lobster Bay and Paradisier) less than 5 minutes walk. A couple of shops 1 minute away with water, alcohol, snacks etc. Would highly recommend staying here.

GermanyMeruska, Aya and the whole team are the nicest people we met on our trip! Always hard working and very helpful to make their guests feel comfortable. They even created a vegan breakfast (every day!) for my husband and a super delicious creole dinner. Also helped us by renting a car and organize to go to the nicest beach. The Petite Villa is super well equipped and incredible clean (like the whole complex!). Some nice restaurants, mini market and beach in walking distance but we would do recommend to rent a car.

The owners are incredibly nice and you can see it is genuine! tThey make you feel incredibly welcome without being pushy at all. The owner was kind enough to give us a lift to Anse Georgette and some of their self grown papaya to taste, it was delicious! we tried out their dinner one night and the food is excellent! The setting of the pond villa is beautiful, you have your room mended every day. A great, kind experience! We were also welcomed before official check in hours.

The hosts were super helpful and the breakfast and dinner (10 or 15 Euros per person) was absolutely fantastic. The place was very clean. The location is good to get to the best beach on the island (Georgette). I would recommend booking a car for sure! I would give a solid 4.5 / 5 :)

I am travelling really a lot, but this place is one of the best places I’ve ever been!!! And that is for sure the best places on Seychelles (I’ve been in Mahe and La Digue). Meruska is a wonderful woman she makes everything for you to feel yourself like at home, they have amazing garden, they have small swimming pool, they even have a washing machine (a fantastic bonus to make your clothes fresh). They cook fantastic creole cuisine for affordable money - which is not too spread for Seychelles;) I was really in love with this place, I hope to be back!

United Arab EmiratesThe owner Meruska is lovely and helped us organise the car rental and entrance into the Constance Lemuria hotel to visit the beautiful Anse Georgette, thanks a lot :-) The room was big, confortable, well equipped, silent (far from the road) and you have your own privacy. The garden is beautiful and well maintained… Having the breakfast on the terrasse was a nice way to start the day! Good breakfast with many choices (fresh tropical fruits, toasts, omelette etc.) Good location as well as the beach is just after the road and many dining options available within small walking distance. Also several grocery shops within 1 min walking. Oh and the dinner prepared by the lady cook was awesome!

SloveniaWe like everything so much. We rented Villa with Pond view and we can’t reccomend it enough. Hosts are just amazing, they helped us with all different reservations (rent-a-car, beaches, restaurant and even organization of small surprise in Les Roches for my birthday). They are really helpful and it feels like home.
