Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCheck-in. Check-in at most of the Izmailova hotels is always something I dread - as is waiting to ask anything at the check-in desk. Sadly this is always a very long and slow process and there are never enough staff on duty. If there are a couple of guests in front of you, it may take 30 minutes or more. It really is quite painful. Whilst one only has to check-in once during a visit, the check in process is often painfully slow. As a consequence, although I like this hotel (and others in the complex) I frequently look at and book alternatives.
The hotel was clean with adequate Covid-19 measures in place. The rooms are pretty standard modern hotel standards which is better than quite a few hotels which have retained the older Soviet style. The hotel is well positioned for the Moscow Central Circle and Partizanskaya Metro. There is a choice of nearby cafes if the breakfast doesn't suit, giving a good suitable choice for almost any taste.

HungaryStaff should be ale to speak more of English language. We even had the situation where we called room service and the lady just hanged up the phone as she could not say a word in English. I understand that majority of guests are Russian people but there is an amount of foreign tourists so some le el of English is needed in a place like this.
Facilities are quite good, everything you need basically. Food at the restaurant is decent as well and within the hotel you have 3 or 4 restaurants to choose from. Location is good in terms that you are really close to Partizanskaya metro stop. Within 15 minutes you can be in the city center.

IsraelBut, and this is BIG but: fitness center located in the hotel itself was for an additional charge which was very surprising to me since it was kinda stated in extremely small letters in the amenities' details. Since the hotel stuff did not find a solution for this I had to cancel my full month reservation and move out in just 3 nights. Also the laundry services of the hotel are very expensive.
Well, my overall experience from Izmailovo Gamma hotel is pretty good. It was clean, the stuff was nice, quite close to a metro station and with plenty of restaurants and fitness clubs around.. Yet, I was not fully satisfied with it, see what I didn't like about it.

United StatesThe only thing I didn't like is that I payed extra for A/C but couldn't use it, they turn on the heat for the entire hotel, and the rooms are extremely hot. When you call the lobby to ask why your A/C doesn't work, they say that because of the season they turn it off. As well, the carpets in the rooms are quite old and not completely clean.
The food was great, big buffet with many options, and the schedule for breakfast and dinner allows you to take your time eating. It's close to two metro stations, a beautiful market place, and other restaurants and businesses.

United KingdomNo kettle or coffee machine in the room is number one drawback, there are mumerous options nearby but teh place is so massive that each is a considerable hike if you are simply after a coffee or a cupt of tea. .On site dining is still a bit SOVOK IMHO, lobbies kitshch, but most importantly, the place is gigantic, it has thousands of rooms, and the queue to the front desk can be an hour+ at any time, i have seen it at midnight. They are perfectly pleasant but very hard to get to, so you better get all of your concers out upon arrival. A bit of Soviet athmosphere and bureacratic vibe sitll remains from teh old Gostinitsa Izmailovo times.
Gamma-Delta is an old Soviet Hotel which, unlike its sister Izmailovo hotels by other letters, made almost a clear break with what we call SOVOK - the experience is no longer Soviet in the worst sense. The rooms are world class and pleasant, and the view from most is to die for. Mine had a fridge. Staff are friendly, no charge for small pets. It is near two major transportation stops (even though the Patianskaya metro environs are shady, it is convenient) and numerous restaurants. Hotel has literally thousands of rooms, you can usually check in any time of day.

SwedenRoom was a bit smelly, I think that carpets are old. There is a lot of things for breakfast, but it is very decent. Many things are not fresh, juices are not fresh, waaaay too many bad carbs and waaaay too low healthy things. Rooms are not really soundproof, so we heard some fights few times in other rooms.
Hotel is not in center of Moscow, but it has a good location, close to metro Partizanskaya.

United KingdomUnlike the neighbouring Delta or Vega hotels, who usually deal with issues promptly and fully, there usually are minor problems with staying in Gamma. This time it was the process of checking in, which took about an hour and there seemed to be queues at the registratino desk for several hours on each of the three days of my stay. I think dedicating more than 2-3 people between 12pm and 3pm for the process of checking in should solve the problem.
Gamma Hotel boasts great location and excellent levels of service, so I would recommend it to visitors to Moscow. There are also great transport links and a variety of services are provided in the hotel building itself. I only paid a little over 2,000 roubles, which is a great price for a three-star hotel anywhere.
