Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice small hotel with modern interior design in the city center on quiet street. Good breakfast. Quite & comfortable feeling from staying in it. Very helpful & fast receptionist. The vase for flowers and Champaign glasses were delivered into room in 5 minutes after asking.

NetherlandsAlthough the room description stated the room was soundproof, this was definitely not the case. We were able to clearly hear anything coming from the adjoining rooms. On a side note, it would be expected that a hotel manger/owner shows the same exemplary (Covid-19) behavior as the rest of his employees.
Cozy and perfectly located hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. With the kitchen/bar working 24/7, we could easily get some tasty food when arriving late at the hotel.

I don’t usually write any reviews but this time I’m going to. this hotel is very beautiful, even though the rooms are a little small I had enough space for everything. the interior is very cozy and welcoming. rooms are very clean. I also wanted to thank the staff for helping me to get medicine early in the morning. everyone who works there is really nice and does a great job! The location is also awesome, very close to everything! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Moscow!

Also, the amenities in the bathroom weren’t exhaustive and kept to basic. Also, the bathroom did not have a bathtub. Also, whenever the lights were fully open, some system that’s connecting the lighting altogether kept making a continuous buzz. Not too loud but enough to annoy you somehow.

RussiaThe ground floor with the reception/bar/breakfast area is not very spacious and can get a bit crowded in the mornings, especially during high season. But the breakfast is very good and totally worth it.
A fairly small hotel in the quieter part of Moscow center. The location is very nice, as it's not on a noisy main street such as Tverskaya, but just a few minutes walk from all the central restaurants and bars. The Hermitage gardens park is also very close if you want to enjoy a bit of greenery. Our room was just above the main entrance overlooking the street corner and while we did expect it to bee a bit bigger from the photos, there was still quite enough room. The bathroom, on the other hand, exceeded our expectations in terms of size.

SlovakiaI was staying during Christmas. Christmas is a holiday of peace, quite and rest. On 24 Dec evening, when I arrived, there was such a noisy party at the hotel, that I heard the noise in the room on the 4th floor. Even though, in Russia, they do not celebrate Christmas at the same time, I consider a basic politeness, when accommodating foreign guests, to let the guest know, the hotel might be noisy at such a special day. It is enough to have to spend holidays in a hotel, noisy hotel does not help it. Would they be considerate, and notified about that, they might have lost a guest for one stay, with this approach, they lost a guess for good. Also, the room lacked basic amenities. There was no hairdryer in the room. In 5* hotel, that is a must. I called the reception, and explained, I need hairdryer urgently, because I had an appointment, and the receptionist promised to solve it urgently. However, they didn't provide any hairdryer till the end of the stay. Hotel restaurant has good food, but terrible service. You'll wait till forever till staff notices you. You do not finish one course and they would bring another course on the table, without asking (that is simply ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE). You finish the dish, nobody comes to take the empty dishes, and you end up finishing your lunch/dinner with table full of empty dishes and waiting again till the end of the world for staff to notice, that you want the check. Horrible.

Switzerlandabsolutely horrible stuff, that has no sense of time or how to welcome guests. Its been several times that I stayed in the hotel - no special welcome or simply an acknowledgment for loyalty. As I always with suitcases - no help with them either, unless I ask for it like 10 times.
