We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesCommunication could be better. I received a message that said I'd receive another message when my room was ready. Check in was at 3. I'd asked about leaving bags early in the morning as I'd be arriving on an overnight train. Sure, no problem. When I left the bags, the worker said that check in would be at 2. Great, an hour early. Went for an early lunch and shortly before noon I received a text that said the room was ready and here's the code to get in. I replied to the text message and said that was terrific news as I hadn't slept a wink on the train and a nap would be great. When I got to the hotel at noon-ish, the room was being made up and was not ready. The housekeeping staff called the person from the morning, who scolded us by saying, "I told you that check in is at 2." Yes, but then your hotel sent a message and door code and said the room was ready. So, communicate better, please.
Clean, comfortable room in a terrific location. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

He really made the difference in this holiday in Cluj! My mom rested and relaxed because the hotel is literally in the center, perfect for persons that cannot move that much by walking. If will happen to come back to Cluj, for sure we are gonna stay at the Square Hotel!!☺️

It’s in the center of the city. Really convenient if you’re a tourist. The hotel itself and the room were nice and clean. The breakfast was tasty, excellent coffee, the breakfast serving staff was friendly. Smooth that you don’t need a physical key to the room.

United KingdomWhen we arrived a/c was not working. Staff sent to fix it but with this being an automatic/unstaffed hotel this took time. The issue was just a tripped fuse.
Great location, comfortable and clean. Super shower. Breakfast was good. Staff at breakfast was very nice and the handyman who was called out was very helpful, he even gave us a great restaurant recommendation.

United StatesThere are steep stairs to reach the rooms from the lobby or from the breakfast area, which may be inconvenient to some travelers. This should probably be mentioned during booking, just in case may prevent some from booking. This was fine for us and we did not have heavy luggage, but it took a little bit of effort, especially since you self check in, you may not see anyone during the process.
The breakfast was made to order, everything was well made, fresh and delicious. The hotel is located within walking distance from events, restaurants and tourist attractions. It is a very safe area and you can also find a grocery shop near by, if you need some esentials.

FinlandAir conditioner in the room was hard to figure out, we finally found the buttons under the lid. It's good to know that there isn't an elevator and stairs were lacking a handrail. So if you are travelling with big luggages, or have a disability, this may be inconvenient to you. For us it wasn't a problem.
Hotel didn't have a reception, but we got clear instructions on Whatsapp how everything works. So it uses door codes, not keys. Perfect location at old town. Host who we met at breakfast was super nice and breakfast was perfect with big cappuccino 😃👍 We were allowed to store our baggages for a few hours after checkout, so that was a big plus for us.
